    I dropped my GMC vehicle off to Clay Dooley on July 22, 2024 for diagnostic check at $199.00. They called back asking to go deeper for $200.00 more, then a couple days later she stated they needed to go deeper putting the price at $600.00. A couple days later I had a full diagnostic report with 3 immediate attention issues, a claim was filed with insurance and in August they approved partial payment for the immediate issues(engine diagnostic). I call the beginning of September and was told it should be done by the first Wednesday or Friday of the month. Called the following Monday and was told everything was still the same they had to take it apart and maybe line some things up. Couple days later I got a call requesting more money to go deeper as everything was still the same. I refused and was told my portion was at 1500.00 if I did not want to go further but all the lights are still on there is no change. I’m confused on how they are charging me $1500.00 for the misdiagnosis and service that was provided but did not fix the vehicle nor change the service lights that it was originally brought in for. They are now calling the insurance company back to see if they will pay for more. This has just been a really frustrating roller coaster.
