    Original repair date January 12, 2024 Commercial truck needed differential repairs,repairs completed pif.January 3, 2025 Differential goes out on truck, Bolingbrook fleet refuse to repair. Does not want to honor warranty.

      we installed a rebuild differential on 01/12/2024 after almost 12 months the truck was towed to our shop for a issue with either the differential or transmission . After inspection we found issue to be with differential . as we are a repair facility not a rebuilder we removed the differential and sent it to the rebuilder who rebuilt it back in January of 2024. Rebuilders inspection. "Upon inspection we found the differential had significant water and contamination in the oil. This contamination caused extreme wear on all the bearings and parts in the differential. Because of this wear the pinion inner bearing failed and seized on the pinion causing the pinion to shear off. This is not a warrantable differential due to contamination" This " " is from the rebuilder directly.
