      ******** me ****** u broke lease u sold me 1 truck with blown head and injectors and motor 2nd truck blown transmission and wiring issues bad hubs and motor I was stranded on i555 ext 8 Missouri for 48 hrs then **** and ***** decides termination lease how can that go against me when u know thses trucks arent worth the headaces they argued every time I tried get help they dont fix it properly id say this most crooked leasing and trucking companies ive ever sceen capitol trucking needs be shutdown along with windycityj trucking crooks

      We purchased a tractor trailer from ********** *** in January this year. We are a one truck owner operator business. The truck had a warranty as well. My husband drove it 500 miles and noticed something major was wrong. He contacted Windy ***************** rep and was advised to take it to our local shop and to only have them diagnose the problem and let them know. ******************* decided the repair cost was too much and wanted to have it towed back to ******, ******** from ************, ******** to repair it at their shop. The main issue was the rear differential went out but was other major repairs needed. The agreement we made was for the warranty parts to be fixed and charged to Windy City , anything else we would start a separate loan since we just bought the truck. It took over 2.5 months for us to get the call the truck was complete. We picked the truck up signed paperwork for new loan and on our way. Made it five miles down the road before it went up in smoke and almost caught fire. Had it towed back to shop. This time it was the front differential with a lot of other issues. The truck had been in the shop for a week and had no answers. I contacted the shop directly and was informed that the warranty department told them to only fix the rear dif and not to touch anything else even though we were charged a separate loan for other repairs. We kept being promised of days the truck would be finished. Last date was the Thursday after Easter. Was then to a point where they wouldnt return calls. We drove to the shop the next Saturday to only find out the truck hasnt been touched at all with any repairs. We cant get a return call or message. And still no truck. We only bought a due to our only trucks engine blowing up. We have went 5 months with no work due to putting all our extra money into getting this truck.

      I took on this truck as a lease purchase, it was never properly DOT inspected but they put me in it anyway saying it had passed. I had nothing but problems with the truck! Every week it was in a shop getting repaired. I was then pulled into a weigh station and steeply fined due to multiple DOT violations. I couldnt even work an entire week without being in a repair shop. After 4 weeks of getting no paycheck and being in debt ! I decide to return the truck back to company. I notified the office manager **** at reserve truck lines and **** the salesman at ************** truck sales to let them know I had bills to pay and that I could not work for free anymore ! I then told them I was returning the truck back into ************** truck sales. The truck was in better shape than when I received it. I was assured there would be no issues.It has now shown up on my credit as a ******* bill , I called there finance department and was told it would be reported as a repossession and kept on credit report for 7 to 10 years. This is uncalled for and should not be held liable for this. I have talked to numerous drivers in same situation with this place and have heard nothing but horror stories. There have been class action suits filed against this company. They keep taking advantage of innocent people I have include some of the repair bills but most of them I was told I couldnt get copies because it was thru a shop called **** truck and trailer service in ****** ,**. They would not give me copies

      on April 25 2022 I leased an kenworth t680(tractor trailer) from ********** truck sales I was sold a lemon. Since I leased the truck I had nothing but problems. I have all the receipts to provide the proof. They will say "you bought it used" but I say that doesn't mean I should be fixing the truck every week. If I was told I had a right to cancel that transaction I would have. The Business Transactions Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act gave me that right but Windy City did not disclose that to me. So in terms I was forced into a bad business transaction. That is a deceptive practice Windy City had an obligation to inform me about my right. In the act it says if I notify them of cancellation they have 10 days to refund all payments and goods or property. I sent a cancellation letter February 3 2023 and I have yet to get my refund. Im supposed to get immediate remedy when I express my rights. Since then the truck has been repossessed and I have late payments on my credit due to windy city's negligence to the law.If windy city is doing business with contracts they have to make disclosures to consumers per 12 cfr ****** and 226.18(requiring disclosures) If not those are deceptive practices and consumer fraud.
