    On 8/8/2022 an accident occurred in the parking lot of a business while my car was parked. This companys driver was in the company 18-******* (semi) and backed in to my car. The driver gave us all the documents needed. The police were called, the driver left the scene of the accident before the police arrived. Once the officer arrived, he started the police report and the owners of the business where the accident happened gave us the surveillance footage of the incident. After contacting the insurance company, they told us it would be best to file on our own insurance while they try and figure out if the insurance was valid. The ***************** gave us the run around for a little over 2 weeks before informing us that the driver was not covered under the ****************** and they denied our claim which left us out of pocket to pay for rental car, deductible, and more. The damages totaled a little over $8000. Also, we have to deal with a premium increase due to us filing a claim with our insurance.
