      My fiancee and I inquired and recieved a quote to rent tables and chairs with accessories. We paid for services (chair, rental, and others including delivery) and were then asked for details about the event. Once we informed the company of the details of the event. ( Bridesmaid brunch and second floor of condo). The company informed us that their crew couldn't use the elevator. Even though they never came to check. And billed extra for 10 stairs. (We were told of surplus charges afterward. If we had been informed of the additional charges, we would haven't done business with them.) We then tried to make arrangements to pick up and deliver chairs on our own. We were told we would need specific equipment to transport rentals.

      We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with our services. We did however inform you that there would be an additional charge once we found out we would need to use stairs. Traditional elevators do not accommodate 6ft round tables and if they do it is not easy to fit in. For us to come out and inspect an elevator prior to delivery is very excessive for such a small order. Our charges are based on prior experiences with indoor deliveries on extra floors. We informed you that in order to transport 6ft round tables you would need a box truck or large pickup truck, again because with our experience these tables will not fit in other types of vehicles. You also asked to drop-off on Sunday and we are closed at the shop. I am sorry you were not happy with our services, but I am confused on why you are giving us a poor rating as we answered all of your questions during communication before and during your rental and our contract is very transparent on charges incurred prior to you paying. Hope this message clears things up and we can redeem your trust for future events.

      You are looking for $120 refund for a $145.20 service that was completed? The additional labor charge was $25 to have my crew take equipment up the stairs. All charges were clearly shown in the contract that you signed and paid for so I am very confused on what this complaint is regarding and why a refund is now being requested. These type of actions from customers really hurt small businesses so I think you should really reconsider this complaint. Again, I am sorry you were not happy with our services, but we fulfilled every aspect of the agreement in a timely manner. Please see attached for invoice reference to what was agreed to:
