My original complaint against this company was filed in October of 2023. I have since, asked them to cease all communications with me regarding the bogus charges ($190.40) that they actually submitted for payment (TODAY) yet again, despite the reversal of the charge months ago. Every month they disregarded my request to cease communication. I do not owe them, they were paid in full, they caused property damage and their continuous harassment has caused me a great deal of stress. REGRETFULLY, I ordered two dumpsters from them but again I paid the price I was given at the time the order was placed, that's what I agreed to pay!!! According to them, they sent the wrong dumpster but with their actions and deceptive practices, I now question if that's even true. Facts: I called Odyssey and ordered two dumpsters that were paid for in full before delivery. The dumpsters were delivered, filled and picked up Yard damages were noticed and reported to Odyssey They denied that they did the damage then stated that they won't guarantee that they would cover the damages (AND THEY DID NOT)I received an invoice for $190.40 for overage charges due to (according to them) they delivered a larger dumpster than I ordered and paid for but why did they deliver the wrong dumpster and how would I know that to be true? Afterall, I'm no dumpster expert...they are!I disputed the charge and asked that they cease all communications regarding this bogus debt.EVERY month thereafter, they disregarded my request to cease communication, and the harassment *************** A year later, I noticed a pending charge from Odyssey for $190.40. Dealing with this company has been a nightmare!!! Needless to say, I am disputing the charge and I would imagine that my only recourse is to seek legal assistance to get them to STOP THE HARASSMENT.

We sorry to hear that this person's experience with Odyssey was unsatisfactory. I have researched what was sent during the original transaction and we did send our T&C indicating that final charges would not be known or charged prior to the final pick up of the dumpster and the actual deposited weight being determined at a dump.

I am marking the account as "do not call, or accept future business."

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I have also disputed the charge and blocked the merchant to avoid any further bogus charges. Thanks for your help.

    Sincerely,

On 10/23, I spoked w/Krysta of Odyssey Group, LLC regarding dumpster rentals. I ordered the 12 yard dumpster for $387. No other fees nor potential fees were discussed. The dumpster was delivered 10/25 and parked on an angle in the rear of the home in front of the garage. The dumpster was filled up that same day so I ordered a 2nd dumpster (20 yard for $475)) again, no other fees were discussed, On 10/26, the 2nd dumpster was delivered and the 1st one picked up. When we got to the property, my husband noticed that the dumpster was too close to the garage so he called ****** and asked if someone could come back and move the dumpster fearing that it would be difficult to open the dumpster door. ****** sent someone out with no problem but the driver said if he brought the dumpster further into the alley any damage to the neighbor's yard will be at our expense so my husband said ok leave it where it is we'll just have to open the garage to open the door.. Afterwards, my husband noticed that the yard had already been damaged. The angle of the dumpster and deep tire grooves in the wet dirt was obvious that one of Odyssey's drivers damaged the yard. We called Odyssey and was totally surprised at ****'s response. He angrily said, "there is no guarantee that we're going to fix your neighbor's yard, how do you know it was my driver". I was shocked at his tone and argumentative attitude. That very same day, we got an email saying that we ordered a 12 yard dumpster and (according to them) they delivered a 16 yard, Now I'm being charged an additional $190 for weight overage? I will never do business with them again!. How was I supposed to know it was a 16 yard and not 12, how can I confirm their overage fee? Why wasn't it discussed beforehand? Why didn't the 1st driver / company inform me before delivering the dumpster that they could cause property damage to my neighbor's yard and give me the option of agreeing to cover the cost of potential damage or put it on the street?
