I got my brakes done and had to leave my car. I was nervous having to do that in the first place but decided to go ahead and leave it because I figured this was a reputable business. I dropped it off 3.21 and picked it up 3.27.Upon picking it up, the brakes were still grinding and I still had to use a lot of pressure to stop. Once I got home, I called the shop expressing my concern and was told that itll go away after I drive it around because they have to adjust. Upon driving it nothing changed. I took it back where it was looked at again and was told I needed a cylinder because it was leaking brake fluid and thats why my brakes arent operating correctly. I asked them if theyre supposed to check to make sure the brake system is working properly prior to fixing the brakes, he said yes. I told him that it wasnt leaking prior to me bringing it there and he confirmed that it wasnt leaking when I brought it in. He said I could leave it, and I didnt feel comfortable doing that because I have a classic original old school vehicle that had nothing wrong with it at first and now its leaking. Not to mention Im a woman and I know auto shops sometimes mess up other things on cars in order to get more money. He said he would order the piece and call me once it arrived. I told him I dont expect to be charged. He said he I wouldnt be.On May 5, I dropped my car off at 9am. They had my car in the shop the entire day. I called at 2:30 to see what time my car would be ready and they told me 5. I went back up there at 5 only for them to tell me in order for them to replace the cylinder that circulates the brake fluid they would have to replace the brake line. I was frustrated and explained to them that now Im wasting more time and money because Im dealing with an issue I didnt have when I initially dropped my car off. He said that they wouldnt be charging me for replacing the brake line and that it would be ready for pick up on Wednesday. I asked why they didnt tell me that when I called at 2:30 and my car had been sitting there since 9am? They said they didnt have a large enough dock for my car until late. May 8, 2024 called at 9.30am to see what time my car would be ready for pick up and ****** said I thought you wouldve been picked it up I responded, why would I have picked it up when you told me it wouldnt be ready until Wednesday? He said oh yeah mechanic just got here but it should be ready by the end of the day. I Called at 4pm to check back because they close at 6 and was told the mechanic was just now bleeding the brakes and they would call me once theyre done. They never called me. I just went up there on my own. They had me leave my car and they didnt change the brake line like they said they needed to do in order to change the cylinder. They said they didnt need to. If that was the case they couldve fixed it Sunday when I dropped it off, while I was waiting. They didnt check out the front brakes to make sure they were properly working, only the rear when I got the front and back brakes done there at the same time. While my car brakes are slightly better, its still not 100%. I feel like it would be had they also checked the front. Also, my passenger door pops when it opens now which it wasnt doing before. It catches with the front end panel which makes it hard to open the door and moves the entire front passenger side panel. Im disappointed in the amount of time I wasted in simply waiting for things to be done that couldve been done sooner. And Im irritated and expected much more. I spent almost $700, wasted a lot of time for poor communication and the fact that my car was returned different from how I left it. I left my car when I didnt need to and now my door is messed up and nobody knows what happened to it. For the unnecessary time wasted, and the fact that now I have to get my door fixed I would like a full refund. I will not be taking my car back to have them fix anything else.

This complaint was entered by customer relations. The consumer was unable to file the complaint online due to the carpal tunnel. "This business was negligent and lied to us. The tire came off the car and could have killed us. We paid money for tires because the business recommended them. We asked them to do an inspection to make sure the vehicle was safe. My kid goes to school in this car too. This business should treat customers better and give us a discount. We have been loyal customers."
