I entered into a contract with Master Temp LLC for the installation of new central air conditioner unit and the required duct work; I was charged $15,500.00 for an allegedly new ******* unit. Since the unit was installed, it has not worked properly. The Principal of the **** *********************** had to add Freon to the unit/install parts. Additionally, ************** advised me that the unit/system needed to be flushed and to turn off the unit when I was not at home. I had the unit inspected discovering that there are several issues with the entire system. ********************************** indicated that the compressor is bad, compressor valves have failed, there is no filter dryer on the unit, and the drain line was not installed property. They also advised me that the unit was too small for my house, that this is not a new unit, that ******* was not a good brand, that this particular model is no longer made and that a new system would need to be installed. I obtained another inspection of the system install from ***** ***************** They found that a new system would need to be installed as well as new duct work throughout the property. The out of pocket cost was additional monies I had to pay. Despite my repeated requests that the Principal/*********************** correct the complaints and complete this job in a timely and workmanlike manner, that to date, he failed to do so. ************** received payment for the installation of a new functioning central air conditioner unit; the unit is not installed properly. Under the contract entered, ************** did not perform certain acts nor honor the agreement by nonperformance without a legitimate legal excuse. Therefore, He has breached the contract. Furthermore, I state that the work was not done in a workmanlike manner. In every construction contract there is an implied warranty of good workmanship. The models failure to operate properly impairs the use and safety of the unit.

Master Temp LLC entered into contract with ********************* for the installation of one ******* air handler and one 2.5 ton Goodman AC unit and duct work. New parts and unit were purchased and installed. Upon completion of the job, a walk-through was done with ************** and she was satisfied with the service. I explained to ************** that I may need to return to add more refrigerant to the unit if necessary due to the fact that the ambient temperature outside must be met in order for the correct amount to be added. ************** called weeks later to say the temperature in her house was not getting cool enough. I returned to add more refrigerant at that time because the outside temperature was appropriate. ************** later called back and said the compressor on the unit was making noise. I returned to find no noise coming from compressor. Compressor was then tested for resistance and to see if it had been grounded out. Both tests passed, indicating that the compressor was working properly. Received another call thereafter from ************** complaining of noise in compressor again. I advised her to turn the unit off. I returned to her home and turned the unit back on and compressor sounded as though the line was restricted and at that time, I changed the piston in the air handler and added new refrigerant. Goodman AC units have filter dryers inside of the units. Upon leaving, I explained to ************** that if she had any further problems with the compressor to let me know and that I would return to replace it. No further communication was had with ************** until receiving this complaint notice. I followed the protocol for the instance of a possible failed compressor.  ************** is warrantied with ******* Manufacturer for major parts. No labor warranty was established between ************** and Master Temp LLC. Since being in business for 13 years, I have performed numerous full service installations without incident. Master Temp LLC stands by quality job performance and customer satisfaction.
