  I have done taxes with this business in previous years. I made a down payment of 250 on 1/13/25, i text (included)with manager ******, the business was suppose to do my 2018 income taxes, after I sent the money I was informed that I needed to sign a contract. I did sign it reluctantly The issue came when a third page was left out of the contract, which I refused to sign since it was sent after I signed the first part. I spoke with the owner to request a refund, the owner did not ****** do anything to rectify to the situation, i was told by the owner initially it was 600. Which she denied and wanted me to sign the page that was left out saying whatever the amount she charged will be.told once done. She has always told me what the charge has been previously.

  As Mrs. ******* mentioned, she has previously been a client of Anointed Accounting. During her consultation, she was informed of our updated onboarding process, which includes a $250 non-refundable deposit. This requirement has been a consistent part of our engagement policy.
  
  I also explained that weve made updates to our processes, one of the most significant being the addition of a mandatory service agreement that must be completed before we move forward with services. This includes submitting all documents listed on our client checklist.
  
  Mrs. ******* has suggested that she was told a specific price upfront. However, our pricing is based on a thorough review of each clients tax or accounting needs, which is outlined during and after the consultation phase. No final pricing is confirmed until all necessary documentation is received and reviewed.
  
  Additionally, while Mrs. ******* did sign the full contract, she noted that the disclosure page did not have her initials. In response, we promptly re-sent the disclosure page she previously signed, allowing her the opportunity to review and initial the section for her records and peace of mind.

  I used this tax service in September of 2024 I went to her for three years of not filing taxes when I first came to her I did A consultation Explaining my tax situation we go we didnt go over the taxes She came up with a solution to get it done I then asked her how much would the service be? she stated the price was not going to be a lot a few hundred dollars at most I then explain to her that I was low on money and I would like to do one tax year at a time, she insisted that it wasnt going to be a lot, and it will be in my best interest to do all tax years together Hesitantly, I agreed to move forward thinking I would be paying hundreds dollars when she finished 2019 I then again asked her how much was we at so far she Against stated not that much and I will get back to you with the price For the work I did on **************************************************************** the price for 2019 and Proceeded to finish all tax return years she Presented me with a bill of about $7000 when I asked her about the amount she stated the bill was over $10k and that was was being nice by only Charging me $7000

  I am rejecting this response because of many reasons but the lady that responsed to this complaint Had never had Contact with me it any point in doing business with this company. I worked with the business owner ******** M *****. I set down with ******** and discussed my tax Concerns and expressed to her this I'm currently working with a limited income I asked multiple times how much was to service going to be per filing year like how much it going to cost me to file 2019 tax return if I was going to only file that one year she stated that the most her Previous clients paid was a few hundred dollars if I can recall she said it paid around $750 to $800 and that he needed a lot of work done on his taxes but she does not see that being the case for me I then follow-up her Statement saying I would like to only file one year at a time due to my Financial struggles. She then insisted that i would be able to Afford it Now keep in mind she knows how much money I have and how much money I was making currently at my job to afford it I disclosed all my Financial information Before we even got started she doesn't Provide a contract or any paperwork with the prices of any information on how see come up with the Amount of money that the client would be charged I told her to reach out to me once she finished  2019 tax return year to she if I would like to continue. She finished my taxes and had me come to her house to sign my taxes I asked why see didnt reach out During the process she said dont worry about it, i not going to change you a lot and since your and my Nephew  have the same birthday i going to give you a discount which was  10% I got you right and that Im going to be getting a nice refund back I signed my tax forms at this point I still don't know the price. After everything is done is when you told me the price 6000 something dollars H&R Block liberty any tax return places and not been Charge not where near that I at h&r block once they Complete your taxes they ask would you like to move forward and would require payment or take the amount out of your tax refund she didn't give me a Option not to have them submitted to the irs because everything was already don't before the bill was Presented I asked her About the bill, she stated that she couldve charged me $10,000 plus And that she was giving me a break almost She is deceiving customers with hiding the prices that she will charge and stating different prices upfront
