On 01/11/2024 my daughters car was out in a field ************ so off of a private drive, the car was retrieved, impounded and towed 8 miles to Three C's shop. On 1/13/2024 I went to get the car that was drivable and pay the bill, myself and my daughters step dad were told that the bill was going to be $6,900 or more if turned in to the insurance as a claim. We didn't want to keep the car in impound because it was drivable so we discussed it and the owner said he could get the cost down to $5,450. My daughters step dad was onsite the day they recovered the vehicle and it took approx. 3 hours to recover with two guys a flatbed truck and a 2 wheel drive tractor to load up and haul it 8 miles to their shop, to top it all of the claim to the insurance shows he had a big rig out there when he didn't even need it or use it for any of the recovery. If the numbers are correct this is $681.00 per mile. I know they had 3 hours of recovery time with two guys and equipment but I have shown several other tow companies this bill, have reported it to the police **** it was impounded by and the county to show that this business is and will continue to take advantage of people. I am not the only one who has complained of this issue and service. This was a police impound that is controlled by this towing company, they are looking into other complaints at the city and county level. I have also made the Illinois Attorney General fraud **** aware but have not received a response to it yet since it has only been a little over a month. I feel like this is fraudulent and this business is taking advantage of the city and county for using its services. I think if the insurance companies would investigate they would find fraud as well. We paid the bill in full but after speaking to other tow companies it seems that we were taken advantage of. I would think a $2,500 bill would be fair after hearing from other companies.

There are three parties involved in this Recovery.  I have been working with *********************** on this from day one. ************************* was and has acted belligerent from day one.  Never has he even tried to have a conversation with me on this. *********************** is the stepfather that was on scene for part of the recovery.  If you read his complaint, it does not add up. We used a flatbed tow truck to take equipment to the scene. We also had to use a flatbed to load the vehicle on once it was recovered. A flat bed was also used to haul the equipment back from the scene. The large wrecker was there for standby strictly for cable the larger trucks have a lot more than a flat bed. We used every chain we had between a fleet of 10 trucks and still did not have enough to reach the vehicle.  The three hours of winch time was accurate I had three guys out there for this. We were also called out at 130 am my driver at that time called and informed me of the equipment we would need.  We had a discussion with the PD and decided that waiting for day light and getting landowners permission before extraction would be best. We went in next morning loaded up equipment we would need and went to the scene.  I have attached a few pictures that were taken from on scene if your computer will let you zoom in and you will see how far off the road this vehicle was not sure how it made it this far out. After extraction was made job really was just started, we had hours of clean up, washing equipment two guys performed for 4 to 5 hours than we had to pay to clean up two car wash bays as I would not leave that mess to another local business owner.  His comments of speaking with other towing companies in the area is hard for me to use as justification as our toing company is the only one in county that has the equipment to perform this type of recovery.  I how ever did reach out to some other towing companies from neighboring counties and spoke with a few of them.  After speaking with them I do believe we were high on the tow and have submitted a refund check to *********************** for the amount of $1362.00 on the date of 3-14-2024 Ck number 010358.  Again, ************************* has been slandering my business all over social media and to any and every institution that he can.  I have been in several meetings over this and it has costed me and my employees business.  A simple conversation goes a long way.
