My car was running poorly on 08.02.24 and I brought it into the Merlin location in ****, ***I was advised that my vacuum pump imploded and that metal shavings got into the motor and that I now needed the motor replaced.I then explained that they just replaced the vacuum pump just a few moths ago. A manager then came out and said it wasn't the vacuum pump like the tech said, but that my cam shaft broke? Considering that I drove 40 miles on the highway from work to bring it into be serviced, I don't see how it was the cam shaft. Because the motor was destroyed and they refused any accountability what so ever, the car was sold for scrap.Previous to this repair, a tech broke my radiator while servicing another repair issue. Even though their tech broke my radiator they tried to bill me $2,500. After yelling at me as if it was my fault, they charged me $1,500 Finally, I had a substantial amount of repairs done last year, they tried to rebill me for many of the same things before they realized my engine was non-repairable. I was a loyal customer for over 10 years, and the new manager has been nothing but argumentative and has never assumed any accountability for anything. I am now without a car and using a rental until I can find something. This has been an awful experience. All I want is a refund for the thousands of dollars I have spent over the last year and the replacement value of my car. This does not even include time off from work and the cost of the car rental.Any help would be graciously appreciated.*************************--

2/4/23 we had to get a Rear Wheel axle replaced on our 2011 Ram **** slt 4x4 truck while we were visiting from **. We left for home on 2/6/23 when we were told the truck was fixed and ready to go. When we were almost home we started hearing a loud grinding noise, and smelled burning break pads. We called and spoke to ****, the owner of Merlins, and sin e there aren't any Merlins in **...he said to take it to ************ and have our guy call him. So we did that, and ************ said the wrong size axle was installed on the truck. He has tried to contact **** numerous times as have I. I have pictures from the Mechanic showing the difference in size. It cost me $1600 at Merlins (I also had to get the wheel bearings replaced) and $900 to fix Merlins s**** up.
