    I had a fantastic experience with *****! He was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Over the phone, he quickly diagnosed the issue with my 3-way switch and expertly helped me install, over the phone, the new light in my family room. ***** took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable with the work being done. He even drew me a map of the wiring! His attention to detail and dedication to quality truly stood out. I highly recommend ***** for any electrical needshe's a true expert and a pleasure to work with!

    We had Illinois state electric install a level 2 charger for my new electric SUV and they were absolutely phenomenal!! **** was meticulous in everything he did in the house and Gerad(the owner) had them here within two days for me first calling. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

    Highly recommend Illinois State Electric!! ***** and his team installed electrical in my home to allow me to charge my EV. The team is extremely knowledgeable, professional, timely, affordable, and also ensured I was aware of all of the incentives to save money with my EV. Also, they fit me in to the schedule within days!!

    After hiring Illinois State Electric LLC, I was left feeling completely shocked - not in a good way. Their work was shoddy, with exposed wires, poorly secured fixtures, and blatant disregard for electrical safety codes. Despite repeated attempts to contact them regarding the issues, they were unresponsive and left me with a dangerous electrical system that now requires a complete re-do by a reputable electrician. Avoid at all costs.

    I have been a loyal customer to Gerad for at least 10 years. I first found Gerad when he was working for another company. I immediately felt comfortable and confident in his abilities. He is quick to pinpoint the problems and solutions. He explains the process and is happy to share his knowledge with us and his colleagues. I have seen him mentoring coworkers and am more than impressed by his skills. I have had electrical issues resolved, electrical lines run to a shed, light fixtures installed and so on. No job is too big or too small. He stays until the job is done. I have such high regards and respect for Gerad. I am very happy and excited that he has formed his own company; Illinois State Electric. He is the only electrician I use and feel comfortable recommending to others. You cannot go wrong with Illinois State Electric.

    I had an electrical issue in the middle of the night and reached out via Yelp message to them. ***** responded pretty quickly and was able to assess what the issue was. Instead of just coming out and making a quick buck, he explained to me what the issue was over the phone and walked me through it. He saved me a ton of money, I learned something, I know I will need an electrician in the future and I'll only be hiring them from now on after this experience.

    Illinois State Electric did an excellent job on our project from start to finish. All team members demonstrated professionalism and confidence. We had them install a Level 2 charger for an electric vehicle. At our first meeting, they advised us of all of our options, and we chose one that met our needs, including budget. This involved running a conduit underground to a detached garage, installing a panel, and running conduit to the receptacle. Their work is very high quality, and the men who did the work were very courteous. The back office communicated very well on each stage of the project. We would recommend, and would definitely call them for our next project.

    I dont know much about electrical workings of a house, however, I know what I had could have burned down my house. Illinois state electric came out ASAP and installed a top of the line commercial grade load center. I dont know what that means but I know my lights dont flicker anymore. The price was fair and the service was excellent!

    Jered and his team were fantastic. Had an appointment scheduled for April 8th and Jered reached out a few days earlier and said he had some availability and could have someone start earlier, I quickly agreed. His team arrived and a quick walkthrough of what I was envisioning and they got to work and completed the job. Looks great! Jered is very communicative, friendly and professional! He will continue to get my business for electrical/lighting needs!

    This company has been out to complete several jobs at my house. From upgrading service to installing ceiling fans and outlets to replacing light fixtures and switches, they do it all. Their work is impeccable. They are incredibly meticulous, customer service-oriented, and reasonable. Would highly recommend and will be using them again.
