    I am writing this review on Sherman Mechanical, **** (Sherman or the Company) (********************************************** *****). In March 2022, an appointment was established for a Sherman technician to come out to our home and provide a Spring check-up on our two AC units. On May 11, 2022, a Sherman Service Technician came to our home and performed the seasonal service work on our two AC units. The service appointment lasted all of 28 minutes, no parts were needed and both AC units were working fine. At the conclusion of the appointment, the Service Technician told me the service call cost was $625.00. The Technician told me the price came from his ***************** Even the Service Technician thought it was outrageous given the appointment lasted 28 minutes. In 2021, I had the same service on our two AC units and the total cost was $180.00. Comparable Seasonal ********* by Four **************************************** cost $89 per unit. The Technician thought it would be best for him to go back to the **************** and ask about the ****. He advised me not to pay now but wait for further details. On June 17, 2022, I received a **** from Sherman in the amount of $425.00. I am writing this review to warn others on Sherman's inexcusable price gauging. In 2020, I purchased an $8,000 heating unit from Sherman and my in-laws have been using Sherman for decades. This is how they treat loyal customers by charging them 4x the price others would charge for a simple 28-minute check-up. It also should be noted, the customer service representative failed to disclose any details on pricing nor travel fees associated with the service call at the time the appointment was established.
