    American Quality windows installed windows in my home last spring. And over my picture window is a large iron metal sun visor to keep the sun out. When they took it down it was okay. But when they put it back up overtime where it hooks in at the top. When it popped loose I gave the guy a call. And he told me that they were going to be doing work in my area in two weeks and he would take care of it then. Well, when two weeks passed and I called him the owner told me Im busy I dont have time for it III get to it when I get to it. Because its metal and could do a lot of damage. It needs to be corrected and taken care of immediately. Im an elderly person and dont feel that I was treated professionally. And I would like the matter taken care of immediately. And on the grounds its a five year or life time warranty. The company should live up to its word.

    I agree that this complaint needs to be addressed. Its an awning that may have been damaged by wind. 

    She was very demanding eventually I had to be a little rude. Afterwards I just walked away from it. As she got confrontational upon the phone call. It was in my best interest to.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    The guy is not telling the truth believe it or not there are other clients that I have talk to that he has done the same way. The guy talks a sharp game. Really Im telling you, he kept texting me and harassing me. And sending me pictures of the Bible. Trust me when I tell you that this man is totally unhinged. I had to block him from my phone and I ended up getting someone else to solve the issue. Because I felt unsure when it came to my safety. I feel that the courts need to revoke his license. On the grounds that he is not as well put together as he may seem. Just to keep people safe in society. But thank you BBB for your time and your kindness. But on the grounds I found him to be not mentally stable. I hired someone else to resolve the issue thank you again and have a good day. Sincerely ******** Brown

    Our initial dispute is a loose peice of flashing. Customer demands we come right away and calls me crazy. This causes a issue for repair. After a drive by the home. The issue is an awning that blew loose in the wind. Yes I am having issues with other matters in business mainly defamation. As we try to navigate through the hardships of personal matters. Also decline in business.  It is not ideal to respond to customers who attacks personally. We guarantee the windows and installation. We sent a crew to add additional flashing already. This kind of attack is not acceptable. Nor does it grant us to fix the issue. This is one of a few personal attacks on my character that has affected the business abilities to fix the problem. We do not guarantee awnings that we did not sell. A defamation suit will be an answer to the claim. Also foremost. It's a fix that could be done simply. With the customer demand and attacks. It is not in our best interest to enter the property. Send us a picture. As words are hearsay. I will inspect it and see if it's chargeable or our fault. 60 mile an hour winds grant storm damage inclusion. We try to fix things in a timely manner however. We have to be on somewhat decent terms to be on site. Not all damages are considered under warranty. We do not respond to attacks. You demand a whole job to be refunded over what I see as storm damage on a product we only worked under.

    I am rejecting this response because: This guy is mentally ill. He is not put together as well as he may seem. After he kept texting  me  sending my pages of the Bible and not taking care of the issue. I knew I was in trouble and  I got someone else to take care of the problem when I became afraid for my safety. Trust me when I tell you that this sick nut never drove by my house to check out the problem. My neighbors said that he done work for one of their friends and the guy had the same problem. If the person is needed to come forward Im sure there wont be a problem. I just deeply believe that this guys license to operate should be revoked. Due to the concern for the safety of society. Especially when he goes into single womens home and is not well intact. On the grounds that there is enough weirdos walking around as it is. If BBB need this other customer to contact them as a witness. That this guy just trys to talk a sharp game and let them know that he is not as well put together as he seems. No problem, that can be arranged this guy really shouldnt have license to serve people. He is really not mentally well and as far as me verbally attacking him well, that never happened. Trust me, the guy is really not well put together. Which can really be a dangerous thing if his mental illness is not treated in the near future. Further more Im done with the issue.     In November of 2024, my husband, ***** ********, and I had ***** the owner of American Quality Windows, Inc. come to our residence at ************************************************************************ to do an estimate for four windows we wanted installed for the upcoming Winter. ***** gave us an estimate and showed us the choices of windows. At this time, he reported that the windows may take 4-6 weeks to arrive, and he would then have someone come to install the windows. ***** then told my husband that he requires half of the total cost to order the windows. ***** ******** then paid ***** $1550 in cash as half of the total $3100. ***** does have the receipt for the cash payment and if needed we can get the exact date of payment to you. Since November, my husband has texted or called ***** several times asking about the windows. ***** first said that the windows weren't in because it was only four windows and the bigger orders were filled and completed first. In December we realized that our neighbors, who ordered all new windows for their house with American Quality Windows, had their windows arrive and they completed the job. Meanwhile right next door we were still waiting for our four windows. ***** again called ***** in January and ***** continued to say the windows "weren't in" yet. On February 24, 2025, ***** ******** called ***** and said that ***** made a comment about "having PTSD and he doesn't like confrontation" and he then hung up on my husband. My husband then texted ***** and told him to just mail the $1550 to our address and cancel our order. ******* response was "Ok, will do. Just gotta wait for my situation to work out. Have a nice day. I don't cry over money just family". We just want our money back at this point. ***** has been posting on his American Quality Windows, Inc. ******** page things about how he has PTSD and can't deal with things right now. This is totally unprofessional, and we need our $1550 returned as we don't want to deal with him.

    Customer reached out for an explanation for a window order. I will admit we have had problems with communication from our vendor. This resulted in a couple order confirmations to be overlooked. We are happy to refund you for the project. Unfortunately as a small business processing everything when under a bunch of political stress that directly affects business, customers actions and attitudes is what we have been dealing with. I will be happy to refund your money and sign off on the contract. I generally don't even take smaller jobs. Simply because of the hassle and lack of reward. Hope all is well and please try to set up a time for us to finalize everything.
