      do not use if possible . They cancel flight and refuse to follow the law in compensation. Also paid for a seat and they changed the plane type and refused to refund payment. had to file complaint with *******************

      Worst airline ever. Prepaid for check luggage and on the return trip as I'm checking in to return home they charged me $75 more. The luggage actually was lighter than when I checked it in Chicago. They were offering free checked luggage to other passengers who hadn't prepaid for checked luggage.
      I paid for early boarding because of my disabilities and was always the last person check in.
      It took over an hour for my luggage to appear.
      When I got home my legs were covered with insect bites that took over a month to heal.

      Iberia changed two of our paid $99 XL seats row 14 seats to regular seats. They moved my 12-year-old son - so that he was sitting BY HIMSELF with strangers in the back of the plane in row 45. When I asked them to change it back they said another passenger already paid for my son's XL seat and they could not move that male passenger. My 14-year-old daughter was left sitting between two male strangers on a 7-hour night flight. She was extremely uncomfortable. IBERIA is awful and does not care about its passengers or the well-being of children. I do not understand why someone should pay for a seat and IBERIA can switch you and do whatever they heck they want. They should not be able to get away with this!! This is honestly disgusting that they can double book seats and move people around. Please do an audit of this company and their customer satisfaction. They are truly awful and could honestly care less about it. I have called FIVE times to complain about my seats and I "mysteriously" get DISCONNECTED. Do yourself a favor and do not book with IBERIA.

      I left my phone on flight 6275 into ******* from ****** on 4/4/24 and have spent days trying to get help with luck I repeatedly get referred to their website to file a lost item report but the website will not accept the request. It is impossible to get a number for them at *** but only an 877 number where people barely speak English. At one point they gave me the number for **************.

      Iberia airlines are the most unprofessional and disorganized company I have ever dealt with. I booked a flight scheduled for 4/10/24 to go from ****** to ******, ****** to ******, ****** to *****. I bought the flexible tickets they are fully refundable. Iberia airlines first cancels my departure flight but leaves my arrival as is. Then after I call to ask them about it they reinstate the first flight but cancel the last two so now my first flight is from ****** to ****** without the other two flights. I called to cancel the entire thing, they emailed me a refund receipt but never sent me my money back. They said it would take 7 business days for me to receive my money back and I have yet to receive it. That was back in February 13, 2024. Do not purchase airline tickets from this company. Buyer beware.

      3/1 I was denied a ticket when I went to the airport to check into my flight by Iberia. They stated that no service animal was on my reservation, and that to be issued a ticket, the correct paperwork for a service animal request must be received 48 hours prior to the flight. I showed them that my AA app shows the service animal and all of my paperwork, but they continued to deny my request for a ticket, which I had booked and paid for through American Airlines. The people at the airport handed me a phone number for Iberia to call, which I stood there and called.The booking agent on the phone reiterated the same information as the lady at the counter at the airport in Malaga. The agent said there was no record in the system on my reservation about a service animal. The agent said there was nothing he could do to help me, as my ticket was booked through American Airlines. I spent the remainder of the day on calls with American and Iberian Airlines confirming my reservation and that it stated my service animal (a total of 8 hours). Iberia was unable to get their computer system to show my service animal on my reservation. The solution the two airlines came up with was to forward me an email between the airlines confirming the approval of my service dog for my flights. 3/3 I attempted to check-in for my connecting flight 3/4. After going to 11 service desks and ticketing windows that would tell me where to go to next, I returned to the second customer service desk I was sent to where a supervisor came out to literally walk me through all of the windows and people that I had spoken to to attempt to get my ticket to ***. He then made a call and sent me to a new customer service window to see another supervisor who actually helped.

      I had so many issues AFTER I purchased two tickets with this airline and they put me through so much trouble. Trying to get easy, basic issues settled through their customer service is HORRIBLE and no one takes accountability. **************** is non-existent and no one cares. No one helps out and everyone I always talked to passed the buck. This is a horrible way of doing business. I had to hire a travel agency to fix a name change on my tickets and I should have never had to do that but the customer service here is really bad and I got sick and tired of calling and calling and calling trying to get someone to help me. During the flight, one of the flight attendants stole my son's air pods from his dinner tray and would not let him look for them. The flight attendant was rude and blamed my son for the loss. Trash is usually offloaded at the destination but not his air pods. They were tracked back to the origin of the flight the very next day so that means a flight attendant had them. If they had been accidentally thrown away, they would have remained at the destination. Unfortunately, I am out $350 but the air pods can't be used so the flight attendant can't use them and I'm out a lot of money. Next, they overcharged me for a luggage fee. They charged me double at the check-in gate. So this trip cost me $500 more due to airline negligence on top of the $3500 I paid for tickets. This airline is **** poor and treats their customers like c*** If they treat their customers so badly, imagine how they treat their employees. This company does business in ***************** but can't even obtain BBB accreditation. Customers have NO recourse to the ills and scams of this airline.

      Dont leave anything behind! I left my jacket on a flight, their lost and found is in an authorized personnel only area, so I couldnt pick it up when I passed through again and while they DID find it, they wanted to charge me double the worth of the jacket in shipping! (Over $100, and its not a huge jacket) I expected international shipping to be a little more, but the problem is theres a box for expedited shipping and it wont let you unclick it (even though it looks like you can). Couldnt find a number for their lost and found (turns out there isnt one, If the website has issues youre on your own, no one can help you), so I called Iberias customer service line. The lady in lost baggage got annoyed and rude with me and hung up on me (very professional) and the second time I called general questions and he couldnt help or transfer me to anyone who could help either. Thats just the process Well who do I tak to if the website is having an issue with my claim There isnt anyone.

      Booked a flight in March 2023 to ****** stopping in ******. The flight was scheduled to leave at l10:05pm. Boarding was behind. They started boarding the flight-midway through boarding-everything stopped. They proceed to ****** everyone off the plane to a different location-waited a few hours to find out flight was cancelled. They said we would get vouchers and we should go home. We requested a refund. Its been 17 days and nothing. No emails or anything. Our travel agent has been working to get refund. About to dispute the charge on our credit cards. The worst customer service ever. Do not fly this airline.
