I am a home ******/real estate Broker who stages home for sale. In October of 2023, I enlisted inhabitr (aka Phoenix Home Staging) to provide furniture for a home I was staging for a total contract cost of $4,275 for the furniture. My client continued to rent the furniture pieces and extend the contract until the home closed in March. When I arrived to pick up my personal staging accessories, they had been removed by inhabitr, yet they are my personal property. The invoice for the furniture from them states exactly what was rented and those were the items for them to pick up. Instead, they took over 40 personal items including gold glitter circle accessory from main bath plus towels fake books from desk silver orb on top of books from desk Silver globe glass chess set silver rimmed champagne glasses martini shaker set two hurricane lamps with fake candles inside glass soap holder with gold bee gold glass toothbrush holder striped towels gray hand towels glass hourglass with sand fake flower (white wrapped in black lettering)fake book labeled "family"elongated glass **** with orbs fake silver flower set crystal **** with orbs inside 2nd fake white flowers with black/white writing on exterior white standing flower statue glass vase with polka dots glass case with orbs silver orb 3 stacked fake books mint green wood serving tray with ceramic plates tea set small fake flowers rooster coffee canister - white fresh milk canister - white multiple cook books tall fake potted tree home wooden board kitchen plaque blue artwork I have reached out to them for 4 months and they have now told me it is my fault for not letting them know it was my property

I rented furniture for this company in early June for a rental. I was charged nearly $500 for a furniture rental and purchased the break fee option during my intial purchase. This company has since charged me another $500 for pickup with unecssary additional fees because they are claiming i am breaking the lease early. I purchased the break option (option to break the lease with no penalty) so that this would not happen. I have called, emailed, texted, and chatted for help and they all pointed me towards their automated faulty systme where i was focred to be charged once more. I will never utitlize this company again because they have fraudlently overcharged me for no quality service.
