I lost my job in 2023 and had to go on unemployment while desperately looking for another full-time job. I reached out to this law firm to start filing for bankruptcy. I completed their questionnaire over the phone and signed their retainer. The law firm immediately set me up on a payment plan. No copy of the retainer was sent to me. I signed the document over DocuSign, where no copy of the signed document exists. There's no way for me to read the details of the retainer. I did not go through with the bankruptcy and instead worked with a credit counseling organization that helped me actually IMPROVE my credit. Trying to contact this firm to request a refund has been a nightmare. It has been over a YEAR since I've been trying to reach out to David directly to get my money back because no services were provided for the money I paid. We've been playing phone tag for over a year and this firm does not correspond through email - only by phone call apparently. I just want my money back because no support or services were provided and they've made it extremely difficult to request the refund.
