The lady who performs the nose piercing is untrained. She uses bendable sterling silver. When she brought out bags of different size studs a bag tore and some of the studs fell on the floor rather than throw them away she picked them up and put them in the same bag as the other piercings which was very unsanitary. When she gave me the care instructions after completing the piercing she said if the nose piercing starts sinking into my nose to come back as soon as possible. I called her not even two days later because I was in pain and noticed the nose piercing was sinking into my nose. She said that this has never happened to her customers before yet if that was true why would she warn me of this being a possibility. When I called them to notify her that the piercing was sinking in, that I was in pain, and needed to be seen they proceeded to schedule me like a regular appointment even after I explained to them a second time the situation. They then called me back to push my appointment to a later time knowing that I was in pain. Since I was in pain and couldn't wait until the appointment I showed up early, the lady who did my piercing comes to me and looks at the piercing and still proceeds to make me wait till the appointment time. While I am waiting she complains to her employee that I showed up early and am disrupting her schedule. Rather than be empathetic and apologize she proceeds to put the blame on me saying that I had to have pushed the piercing in. As she removed the piercing she tried to push it out with her fingers. I was in pain so I was wincing and began to tear up. When she noticed this she asked me if I took anything for the pain I said no as I rushed here from work she then said "well if you're in so much pain you should've taken something" not only was she rude, she did not give my full refund. I paid $50 and she said that she was only going to give me $30because "I ruined the piercing". I told her it wasn't my fault so she proceeded to give me $40

    Business Response

I agreed that she did call after 2 days that her piercing stud is sinking and I adviced her to come back so we can remove  her stud as that's the best option to do at this situation  . I even returned  her full amount which I charged her for piercing  that time . There are many reasons for the piercing  donot go right even if it is done with full care and precautions.

.what I understand in her case that her stud was pulled out with her mask string and then she tried to pushed it back in  .

On her request only  I gave her the appointment  at  evening  hours which is actually  most busy time for my business and in fact I had to move a client to earlier time so I can attend her when she is here for her appointment  .This is also true that she came one hour before her appointment  time but I had to take care of my planned appointments first  and I tried my best to attend her the earliest .

But same time some of the statements  she made is not true, for example...I was talking to my employee  about  her  disturbing  my  appointments  as its only me working in salon and I donot have any employees  from last Many months .

Also  my piercing stud box fell and studs were on floor and I put them back instead of throwing them away or not refunding the money .I refunded her  the money for her piercing but I did her eyebrows  shaping and sold a product which  she opened and used ,I don't  see any reason for refunding the money for those  . I really don't  understand  her  reason for  the complaint .  It's my duty to give post care instructions  to the clients  and also made them  aware of different situations  and what to be done in those situation  and same I  explained her too.

I don't  see any reason of her getting upset if I was not able to take her earlier then her appointment time  as I business owner I also have to respect other client's  appointment  time too and they were waiting for me only as I am the only one working that day and for the last few months due to pandemic  situations .
