    ****** S ***** scammed our family of 5,000$ and theres no way to find him. All of his credentials are under other people companies. Our loved one is buried without a tombstone cause he chose to give cemetery a bounced check when clearly he was given cashapp payments for the expenses from my family. Its been almost a year trying to get some type of help so our family member can actually rest in peace. ****** S ***** continues to change his number & address Everytime I find him. Now I have no luck. Our family are still grieving till this is resolved. I even filed a complaint with ************************ June 2024.

    The owner of Helping Hand Memorial Chapel, *** ************************* did a phone interview with me the day my husband of 30 years passed away. ******************************* from Decedent Affairs at ***** VA where my husband passed away introduced me to him. As I was telling Derone over speaker phone of my wishes for my husband who was a Federal Retiree and a Navy Veteran, ******************************* was documenting everything we agreed upon. I met with ************************* the very next day still in shock of my husbands unexpected passing to make the arrangements for him. The VA keeps the deceased remains for only eight days. After eight days the loved one becomes an unclaimed veteran. Because of this issue and the fact that ********, a government employee suggested ******, my very stressed and grieving mindset decided to use him. At this meeting with ****** I didnt realize that I wasnt thinking clearly. He had me signing paperwork that was blank and I didnt notice this because I was devastated and confused and crying for my husband and we had already discussed the arrangements the day before with Valencia documenting the conversation. After we parted ****** filled in the paperwork and he didnt give me any copies of any paperwork. I still havent received any of the seven death certificates he was supposed to have for me. I soon found out that ****** used ABM *************** to draw down ***** of my husbands *************************************** The funeral service was to cost 5350. From the ***** ****** got from the funding company, I was supposed to get the remaining balance of *****. But ************************* kept the whole ***** for himself. I GOT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. This man admitted to taking all of the money. He is a predator. I too am a Federal Retiree who is disabled and still grieving my husband of 30 years.
