    I hired Phillip Ferguson to complete a live event painting at my wedding. The contract was signed and he was paid $1,245 (see contract and venmo payment) on July 21st, 2022. Phillip showed up to my wedding on September 2nd, 2022 and completed the painting. Before the wedding was over, he said that he needed to take the painting back to his studio to finish it and frame it and then would contact me in a couple weeks when it was ready. It has been 5 months and I have not heard from him. I have tried calling numerous times, sending emails, Instagram messages/comments, ******** messages, yelp reviews and even drove to the address that is listed as his studio and have been unable to reach him. I know of at least 3 other couples that he has defrauded in the same way. I am seeking help finding him and obtaining the painting that we paid for.

    I hired a live wedding painter - Phill Ferguson - to paint my sisters wedding. On March 11, ************************************** full via Venmo - $845. He showed up the wedding on 9/4/2022 (miraculously) and painted the wedding - in addition to eating their food. At the end of the ceremony he told us he needed an additional 3 weeks to finish the painting. After the additional 3 weeks had passed (my sister and new husband were on their honeymoon), I contacted him. He pushed back said he needed more time. After a couple more weeks, I emailed again. This time he said he was putting a few finishing touches on and the painting would be in the mail by the end of the week. After a couple of more weeks I continued to follow up only to be ignored by him. I commented on his Instagram, sent him an Instagram Direct Message, a ******** Direct Message, called him (disconnected number), and continued to email him. I left a Yelp review and both my sister and her husband reached out to him. On December 1, 2022 he emailed me from a personal account and said he had been having some family issues, had been in jail I think - to be honest the email was not easy to read - but he said the painting would be in the email by the end of the week (now the second time he's made that promise). I got in contact with another person who hired him in May who also doesn't have their painting and it is the same story for them. It is now January 2, 2023 that I am filing this and I still have not received the painting. I have also offered to pick up the painting from his studio to save on postage, time, and effort which has been ignored. I want to discourage anyone from hiring him and get the painting that I paid in full and watched him complete in my hands. This was supposed to be a nice wedding gift for my sister and it has turned into an awful situation. Today I also submitted a form with the ******** Attorney General to file an official complaint with him.
