    I received my oven which was broken. I immediately reached out to TOVALA and got the run around - repeated troubleshooting steps 7 times. Yes, thats what they told me to do over and over. Three weeks later I still have a broken oven with zero customer support just a lot of run around.

    We have addressed the agent that you were in contact with during this time as well as reviewed our process & made improvements. This timeframe was unacceptable & we are corrected so this doesn't happen again. 

    As of 10/6 you received an email from one of our senior specialists confirming the tracking number of your new oven. We will follow up with you once you receive your new oven to make sure troubleshooting goes smoothly & you can experience the oven the way you should. We appreciate your business.

    All these meals that I ordered came with absolutely no meat. The customer service is a joke there is no response at all from them.

    After finding a 12 inch black hair in my Jambalaya dish, it took 2 weeks for a random person to reply. Not sure of which country they are outsourcing the customer service to but, THEY SUCK!As I've seen on this site, Tovala wants to solve an issue. DON'T BELIEVE IT!TOVALA employees are fake as can be!Back to the 12 inch long hair(that went into my MOUTH,)WHO would save said hair? This FAKE company asked me to actually MAIL IT BACK TO THEM!!!!This company can **** IT!SHAME ON YOU TOVALA!!!!!

    Double charged me for meals and refund for THEIR mistake will come in SEVEN days. Awful; this should be illegal. I had recently come back as a customer but have now decided never again and am canceling my account. Luckily I am way over the six meals needed for the oven I bought almost 3 years ago: I was just about to upgrade to one of the new ovens. Im grateful now that I didnt.

    HI *********,Thank you for reaching out. After further research we do see you were double charged for you most recent order. We saw that this was an internal error on our end & made sure to contact you right away letting you know that we fixed the issue & resolved the matter by making sure the extra charge was refunded back to your account immediately. As we internally refunded the funds back to your account on file immediately, we provide a 57 day turnaround window because depending on your banking institution, it can take that amount of time (more or less) for the funds to actually reflect back into your account. Please check with your bank regarding the refund as there may be a possible option for the funds to reflect back into your account sooner. We appreciate your feedback & hope to serve you as a customer again soon.

    I've seen nothing but complaints below but honestly this service is a lifesaver for me. I love to cook, but hate cleaning and this has made my day to day life so much simpler. The customer service is always helpful and usually able to solve whatever problem I bring to them. I'm saving money by not getting take out and saving time by not waiting for delivery drivers or going to the grocery store.

    Like the other reviews mention there are a lot of shipping delays. We all understand world events, supply issues, staffing shortages, holidays, the increase strain on our shipping systems, and human error. My issue is how consistently the orders arrive like the boxes have been slammed or have been delayed multiple days or have arrived late at night. Any meal with a protein includes raw meat. The shredded newspaper packing is always torn and makes a mess. Two of the last four weeks orders were delivered days late and after 10pm and 12:30am with no heads up. I really wanted to like the service, but it is just not consistent enough to justify the cost or convenience when I have to last minute meal plan or get fast food to account for delays. Or me having to throw out food because it arrived three days late. Customer support is quick to issue credits but the issues remain and frankly, I am still having to plan and cooks dinners and lunches most nights anyways. Admittedly I was rude to the customer service person today, but I am so done with this.

    My offer was for a $49 oven, free delivery and $9.99 meals. What I'm receiving is meals priced at $12.99 each and $9.99 a week delivery. Their marketing is very deceptive and should be called out. At a six meal plan (three dinners for two people weekly), we are paying $**** more per dinner (2 meals) than expected (extra $3 per meal plus $3.33 per 2 meal(s) for delivery, so **** per dinner more than expected, that's nearly a 50% difference in price . It's not nearly the deal they offer.Food is good, but price has a lot to be desired. As for what others note about bad shipments, I haven't experienced that yet. We live in SWFL and the food has arrived on-time and cold (so far).Would I recommend them? No, not with the deceptive marketing they're doing now.

    I have just completed a survey about Tovala, and my biggest complaint is that for at least 2 weeks during the past few months our order, due on Monday, has not arrived until Tuesday. Of course this interferes with Monday's dinner plans. I expect to be notified in advance that a delivery will be delayed, so that alternative plans can be made for Monday's dinner. Thank you.
