    Racial profiling, harassment and discrimination.Believe every negative review you see! This was the most horrible experience of my life. We were in town for a volleyball tournament at the ********* Center and our group booked with The Congress Plaza Hotel. We arrived at The Congress Plaza hotel on July 2nd. I will start by saying the staff is not friendly or welcoming, the room was horrible; this place needs a lot of work chipping paint everywhere, dirt, dust, cracks, shower didn't drain, you name it. On top of that, we were racially profiled by security; the only ones in our group asked to show a key to enter the hotel, then security proceeded to harass me by asking for the envelope to the key as we watched him only ask other black guests to show their keys to enter the hotel. Staff refused to get a manager when requested and then after we left, management avoided speaking with us to address the matter. Worst experience of my life! Please check the other reviews, as this I not an isolated incident with this hotel.
