      The insurance companies with whom HUB deals are absolute crooks. We had a homeowners policy from Cincinnati insurance that continued to OUTRAGEOUSLY ESCALATE the value of our home, providing massive amounts of coverage we didn't need. When we were curious why our PREMIUMS TRIPLED, despite never claiming anything on the policy, we were shocked to learn that insurance companies are allowed to inflate the coverage on the policy COMPLETELY UNCHECKED so they can continue jacking up the premiums. When I asked if my increased coverage meant that, in the event of a claim, the insurance would allow me to replace my porcelain toilets with gold-plated toilets, I was told, "no, it has to be a like for like exchange." So this means that the over-inflated coverage basically amounts to STEALING from consumers, because there is absolutely no way to ever actually incur costs to the equivalent amount of insurance. It is a travesty that the State of New York allows this to happen (apparently the onus is on the consumer to read every word of all policy renewals to avoid being DEFRAUDED). BEWARE INSURANCE BROKERS---they do not have you're interests in mind and will look to put you in the most expensive policies they can with a bunch of unnecessary coverage so they can earn the most in commissions.

      I had five policies with them and they would randomly get cancelled for non payment, even though I was on autopay. I would not hear from HUB that these policies were cancelled or in threat of being cancelled until I got a letter in the mail from the insurance provider. Horrible and dangerous and completely useless insurance broker, in my experience at least.

      Refuses to give me a copy of my tail endorsement copy that my practice group purchased for my records (questionably legal). Told me false information that I don't have a right to purchase my own tail coverage (negligence). Difficult to work with, difficult to communicate with. I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

      I knew over the past 5 years HUB had been getting worse with zero communications except to send renewals through email, office i was supposed to use changed 3 time as they closed offices , moved further away this year i decided to take the time to switch agents to an agency ****** town, 2 cars, i house, i did keep Safety ins as they seemed to be good. My new agent spent more time with my reviewing my policies and asked questions about any changes to my personal situation than HUB had in all thears i have had the displeasure f there poor service since buying local agency years ago.My new agent got me over $450 is savings over the three plans and actually increased coverage , Discounts they got me all could have been taken by HUB had they spent 5 minutes to review my plans, most discounts were for early payment in full which i have done the whole time with HUB and they never mentioned discounts horrible company
