      July ******* I paid this company to provide moving service. The movers arrived to my apartment at 8:00 am that morning. They quoted me a 4 hour with the cost of 971$ They started the job at 8:30; w its a 3 man crew . This business commitment to provide a 4 hour secure move. However they damaged my property. Scratch my hard wood flooring,, broke my chest draws ; drop and damaged my standing vanity cabinet , damaged two ***** rack and dirty my king size mattress are filthy with dirt. Also the broke the locks on my dresser draw. I pointed the damaged out to the movers, He ask me to write down my damages on the invoice and contact the company in the morning. That following morning I called spoke with the Manager, He stated they would call me back later the morning of July 31 , 2024 . No one never called me back. I went to the office August 6 2024 after waiting on a return call . I spoke with the manager about my broken property and provide the pictures I had on hand. I received a email later the day offering me 100$ dollars which is an insult my damages are over 1000$ dollars . Very bad service. I will never use this company or recommend. Im seeking half of my money back.

      Aaron Bros. Moving System, **** is aware of the damages that occurred during **************** scheduled move with our company, and we sincerely apologize for the stress and inconvenience these issues may have caused ************. Our records indicate that a 3 men crew was quoted at the time of scheduling and sent on move day. The crew did indicate damages on the paperwork and unfortunately, our General Manager did not have time to communicate with ************ prior to her office visit a week later. They were, however, able to connect in person and after reviewing the damage photos with ************ in person, ABMS, **** offered a settlement based upon the valuation chosen at the time of her scheduled move of 30 cent per pound per article, as set forth by the state of ********. We have not received acceptance of this offer as of today, August 9th, 2024.

      Aaron Bros. offered ************ a settlement based upon the valuation chosen during the time of her move of 30 cent per pound per article which is set forth by the state of Illinois. Unfortunately, this is our best and final offer.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      Aaronson brothers offered me $100 for all my damage property. They stated that they only would pay $.30 a pound. They did not come out and weight My damaged property. my king size mattress was damaged. My solid wood dresser is damaged. My standing vanity cabinet was damaged. The hardwood floors throughout my unit is damage to ***** rack was damage $100 is not a decent nor fair offer.. The very next day, I spoke to someone letting them know how their movers damage my furniture they say they would call me back that same day. I never received a phone call three days later. I went up there and spoke to someone and thats the only reason why they even offered me anything, but as I stated, my damages is worth more than $100 if theyre going by $.30 per pound they need to come out and weigh my property. This company is very unprofessional and how could you just give me a quote off the top of your head of how much damage . They didnt come out to weigh my damages property. if they are going by $.30 a pound come out weigh my dresser weigh my mattress weigh my vanity cabinet. Wait these hardwood floors that theyre scratched up and we can go from there.. The estimate they gave me was an insult.

      My Bill *** For $70.00' For (2) Moths Storage Rental' He Told Me' On The Phone Come Get My Belongings' When I Got There He Asked For Another Month' Meaning He Charged Me For April 1st. And *** Emptying The Storage' They Got 2 Broke **************** In Business For Years' Ppl. Have To Use The Stairs To Move Anything' It's A Shame! Just Thru. W/ Them!

      Per our Rules and Regulations, a customer only has access to their storage space with a zero balance AND rent is due on the first of every month, month to month. Any tenant here on the first of the month is responsible to pay for the entire month, regardless of if they are moving out or not. What was communicated to you was an outstanding balance on the storage account. In response to the elevator, our elevators are currently down awaiting repairs and we have no control over when parts/service dates are available from the elevator company. This is a temporary issue and not an ongoing one. It is for the safety of our staff and customers that repairs, when required, take priority over convenience. We do apologize for the stress these issues have caused you and appreciate your feedback.

      Aaron Brothers moved me on April 25, 2022 and placed my possessions into their storage until October 7, 2022 when they were moved into my new home. Every piece of my furniture was returned heavily damaged, requiring the items to be removed and taken to a restorer. Several items were not returned and a storage container of dishes was dropped and returned broken. Aaron Brothers did not respond to my first outreach for resolution. I subsequently reached out again and received a settlement offer for $200 based on their calculations of $.30 per pound. The poundage they used does not nearly represent the weight of the items or anywhere near the value. I initially arranged the move via phone call - no mention of their liability was ever mentioned nor any option for additional insurance coverage. They list they are in good standing with BBB, though their reviews speak differently of their moving service.

      Aaron Bros. appreciates that ************** utilized our business for two moves, and we were very displeased to hear about the damages that occurred. We have addressed the issue with our staff and ultimately let go of the Crew that we felt was responsible for the damage as to not affect other potential customers. ************** did notate some damage upon moving into storage after his April move but to our knowledge, an ************** was not made until the second move in October. Once the claim was submitted, a settlement offer was extended to ************** based upon our limits of liability of 30 cent per pound per article and by using the "Average Weight of Common Household Furniture" a standard guide within the moving industry. In terms of valuation offered and any information regarding additional protection, this information was emailed to ************** twice within the body of both of his moving quotes, but we cannot speak to if it was reviewed by **************. Based upon our Terms and Conditions and our limit of liability, Aaron Bros. feels as if it offered ************** the best settlement possible.

      I do not know what their offer is at this time. The damages I have incurred are nearly $10K, their initial offer was $200. Once I know what their settlement offer is, I can, with full knowledge, close this case.
