      Prior to Covid I purchased a brand new wood floor ***** Rug. as of todays date 3-12-23 It has never been finished after being promised at least 10 times that they would do so. I have a floor that is installed incorrectly. The subfloor was never prepared by *****. The floor sinks, makes noises (like a fart) when you walk on it, because of trapped air and space underneath the floor. I was promised several times all of this would be corrected. To add to the issues, when they installed a transition piece they shot a nail and it split the wood. They promised to fix this. The remaining transition pieces are yet to be installed. To add insult to injury, because of the floor moving and not prepared properly, I have several pieces separating or cracking all over the room and hall. You can literally hear when another boards splits. Time after time I was promised they would take care of it however it was kicked down the line by *****. I know its been lengthy but I cringe every time I look at my floor. I trusted them every time they told me they would handle it. Now, here I am, in 2023 with the same result. I truly have regret buying from *****. I have photos, and emails to back this up. ********************************* was my salesman and he personally was wonderful. Classy Man! Unfortunately after this was handed off to the installation process ***** broke every promise moving forward. I want to rip the floor out and carpet however I just don't have it in me to throw away 7K for what should have occurred. I look at the floor and it truly angers me how they took advantage of our dream of having a walnut floor. ***** should have all this documented as well. Again I have emails, photos. Videos if necessary to hear and see the floor. Ive included a few however its too extensive to show all of them. The president of **************, ***********************, need to hear about this. Truly disheartened and feel totally ripped off by *****!

      BEWARE of doing business ***** Rugs. I live in an older home and some areas on 2nd floor squeak very loudly. I solicited several companies to get estimates on carpeting, but after evaluating the area some explained the carpet/ padding would not eliminate the squeaking sound. ************** Representative stated she was very knowledgeable in flooring and carpet and thick padding would eliminate 80% of the sound. She convinced me so I agreed to installation of 3 bedrooms/hallway @ cost of $4,427.80. Well the areas are still squeaking as loud as before. I contacted her to make aware of the situation. She sent someone name *** out (flooring expert) and he explained ******/ padding wouldnt eliminate the squeaking. She later came out to see herself. Their resolution is to come back out and remove carpet/padding. I am the customer who has been mislead to make a sale and now they want to inconvenience me by coming back in my home tearing up carpet/ padding which should have never been installed in the beginning. I am a 66/yr senior and have been deceived. I paid them money now have to pay out more money to get the squeaking issue resolved. I f I was told the truth that money would have been used to correct the problem instead of getting carpet. SHAME on ***** rugs took my money (provided carpet/padding) I understand, but it was purchased by falsification of information provided to me. I should receive a full refund and this purchase written off instead of doing more harm to me trying to come back and remove carpet/padding. This should gave never happen to me I am on a fixed income. I was mislead to make a sale is this how to do business. What has this world come too. Upset, dissatisfied and hurt customer!!!I will follow-up with the ************************ to investigate fraudulent, deceptive and unfair business practices.
