    Do not support this company. They use writers and team leaders to establish new websites for their larger network, but once new hires lay the foundation for possible growth, editorial positions get turned over to ineffective staffed employees. They’re ineffective because they repeat this process of hiring, building verticals, then turnovers every few years. For example: Their vertical, FlickSided was originally established eight to ten years ago, but that editorial team—the same individuals on FanSided’s Entertainment Division today—disposed of the page when readers didn’t respond to it. FanSided then trashed all the previous content so it appears as if the site never existed before last year. you find a 404 error page if you search articles from 2016. Top leadership attempted to once again establish the website late last year and that was pointless. It didn’t go anywhere. The site turned out maybe 20 articles in three months and most were regurgitations of past pieces. They retried in December with different writers and only recently turned over the website to their staffed employees.
    My suggestion: avoid this company at all costs. Whether as a potential employee or consumer, their product is mediocre at best. Their publications are also inconsistent. Some of their articles are professional quality while others amount to less than clickbait. And if they reach out to you with a Contributor offer—run. They’re going to use you to supply their website with content, pay you cents for your hard work, then make it conveniently placed in writing that you have no rights to your work. And they’ll give you the option of having your content taken down once you leave the company, but that’s just another petty behavior from their quote unquote top leadership.
