On April 26th, I ordered food from what I thought was an in-house online ordering website to a local deli/market that I've ordered food from before. When my husband went to pick up the food, the employee stated that they do not do online ordering (or they may only do it with Door Dash or something to that effect) and did not receive my order. At this point, I have a confirmation of pick-up time, and the money has already been taken from my account. The local company refuses to make any food for me or to refund me, stating that it is the previous owners who are in control of this site. In dealing with this, I looked closer at the online ordering site and noticed that it was powered by Chowly. I called Chowly to inform them of the issue. Chowly confirmed that the account was active and that in February, someone had called to remove the online site, however, they were unable to do so because they did not fill out the necessary paperwork. At this point, I informed Chowly that as far as I was concerned, if they were knowingly allowing a company to pretend to be another company and receive money from online orders that they too were guilty of fraud.

This company signed me up for their service only for me to cancel a couple days after having the first onboarding call where the ***resentatives were confused about why I was on this zoom. They appeared completely disorganized , unknowing what was happening which created a feeling is distrust between me and this service., Thankfully my sales *** ***************** who was VERY kind, assured me that I could cancel anytime without penalty. SO I emailed him to cancel after that first meeting with I believe it was the onboarding tech team who was not ready to meet with me. I emailed him of cancellation on 3/26 I have email receipts of this HE WENT SILENT For months the company has charged me $299 per month for 4 months now and I do not have an account ***, I am not onboarded in their system, I do not have a login, and I keep getting the run around on how to get a refund, Call here, email there, fill this out, ETC ETC. Now someone tells me my case is closed, because they cancelled my account YET I HAVE NOT been refunded for the wrongful charges.
