    I hired Deck Tech to strip and refinish my deck in 2021. The stripping and power washing went fine, however the refinishing did not go well at all. Sanding was never performed and they did not use enough stain to provide complete coverage. This occurred in Nov '21. They sent a supervisor out to inspect and he determined the above needed to be resolved. Being this was Nov in *******, they ran out of weather to be able to complete the job in 2021.I went almost the entire summer of '22 without hearing from them until I received an invoice for the full remainder due (I paid a 30% deposit up front) in August. I had numerous phone conversations with them regarding this issue and they did send out another technician to look at the deck and he agreed work still needed to be completed.However, I informed them I was not willing to pay the full remainder due for them to complete the work as they had left my deck sit unfinished for the entire summer. I made them an offer that I believe was entirely reasonable (leave things as they and consider the deposit as payment in full, or finish the deck and accept 50% of the remainder due as final payment). No one ever got back to me.On 12/21/22 I received another invoice for the full remainder due. I called and left a vm as no one answered the phone and have not received any call back.I do not see the point in me continuing to discuss this with them if they are not going to engage.
