I currently live at one of the properties managed by Buck Management LLC. I moved into this property recently. I set up an auto payment for ******* on November 29th and I received an email confirming that an auto pay of ******* starting December 1st had been set up. On December 1st I received a call from my bank stating my account had been overdrawn. On looking at my bank account I noticed that instead of $******* Buck Management had withdrawn $2729 from my account. I logged into the renter portal and noticed that the system had created two auto pays instead of one and hence charged me twice. Reminder: I had only received confirmation for one auto pay not two.I then proceeded to contact the property manager *************************** who said she would reach out to the corporate office and reach back to me with a resolution. ****** gets back to me stating that the Buck Management LLC told her that they had no way of returning the money back to my account so my only options were either take a rent credit for next month or dispute the charge with my bank. If I were to dispute the charge with my bank then Buck Management LLC would be adding a reassess fee of $75 to my next months rent.I am very angry as a technical glitch in Buck Management LLC's system first overdraws my bank account, due to which I have to pay charges to the bank. Secondly they just want me to credit that money to next months rent - in that case they should be paying me interest on my money. Lastly I am supposed to pay a $75 charge for a mistake on their end ?This is just malicious business practice.I would like a check drawn out to me for the amount that was overdrawn from my account. If they cannot return my money I would like to be credited interest at ****% as that is the interest I currently make by keeping that money in my bank account.Attached screenshots of auto pay confirmation email as well two cancellation emails (9:18 am and 3:02 pm) confirming that the system set up two auto pays not one.
