      We sold a house 15+ years ago. We are still showing as the owners of this house on BlockShopper's site. I asked many, many years ago to just have the information changed to the person who purchased the house and I was told that their information is correct. I provided proof that the information was not correct with information from the Lorain County Auditor which I will provide again. BlockShopper is a business that uses people's personal information for financial gain, which is fine, if the information is correct and the person allows it's use. Blockshopper has refused to update their information in 15+ years. At this point, if Blockshopper still refuses to correct their privacy mistake or answer this complaint, I will be looking into fraud and putting Federal complaints in.

      I am reaching out to formally request assistance regarding a concerning issue with BlockShopper. Over the past several months, my personal information has been involved in multiple data breaches, resulting in numerous fraudulent attempts to open accounts and loans in my name, particularly in the Midwest ********* an effort to mitigate further risks, I have repeatedly requested BlockShopper to remove my personal information in accordance with their publicly posted privacy policy. Despite multiple attempts over the past month, I have received no response. Additionally, based on various online reports, it appears that many others have experienced similar difficulties in securing a resolution from this business.Given these circumstances, I hope the Better Business Bureau can assist in ensuring BlockShopper adheres to its stated privacy policy and takes appropriate action to remove my information as requested. Please advise on any steps I can take to expedite this process or any formal complaint procedures that may be necessary.I appreciate your time and assistance in this matter and look forward to your guidance.Sincerely,***** ********

      On 12/26/2024, I contacted the business to request that they delete my personal information from their site, as I am protected under the *****The business is refusing to comply with the law and remove my personal details, as was their response to my email on 1/6/******* attempt to explain to them that this is the law and that they have ********************************************* a similar response: they denied the request.

      When googling my name, my address should not show up. Understand that while the property sale is public records, someone has to know the county in which I live to find my address. This is completely unacceptable. When requesting my information be removed, they replied with a rude email and refused to take it down. This site should be banned, its giving access to my personal info simply by looking up my name.

      Blockshopper refuses to remove my info from their site. ******** could care less that a person I've had problems with in the past used Blockshopper to track me down. Because of Blockshopper we live looking over our shoulder in our own home. A stalkers tool.

      I did not provide permission for my personal data to be included on their website. I found it and asked 9 times since December 30, 2024 to have it removed. They have yet to remove it. My address is available through any ****** search, which is a safety issue for me. I've explained this to them and they refuse to take down the information without providing a good reason.

      My problem is that BlockShopper have published private information about me without prior authorization regarding the purchase of a house. It is my decision to say whether or not I want such information to be published, otherwise such publication should not be made because it violates my privacy rights for which I request to be deleted as soon a possible.

      This website published my personal information, my home address, and other information about me on their website. Without my permission. You can do a simple ****** search with my name and it comes up. I have serious safety concerns in regard to this. I have contacted them multiple times and they refuse to remove my information without proof of a restraining order. I refuse to mail them or show them any private documents legal or not. Please somebody take the site down. It's keeping me up at night. It's causing mental health concerns. I did not allow this. Somebody help.

      Blockshopper.com is publishing my mother's address in ******* on the internet and refuses to take it down. I have already contacted the office of Governor *** ********. My plan is to contact every elected official in ******* for the region and also ******** until they stop with this madness.
