    Al is awesome. I called on a Friday afternoon because I was concerned I have asbestos in a wall I had already started knocking down. He answered my call on the first ring. I explained that I was nervous so he came to my house THE SAME DAY to get samples. He got the results quickly and explained what they meant. I highly recommended using them.

    After discovering water and mold damage on the ceiling and wall in my hvac closet, I placed an ad thru Better Business Bureau on September 24, 2024 for quotes from a company to perform mold remediation and drywall repair. Following day Al from Illinois Environmental Restoration responded to my request. I reiterated to him what work was needed. He stated the primary focus should be on testing the mold level in the home before proceeding. I explained I would need estimate costs to perform mold remediation and drywall installation. He stated we needed to test the mold levels again. I was showing signs of mold exposure so reluctantly agreed to the mold test on September 27, 2024. Initially was quoted approximately $425.00 if using credit card which seemed high, plus 3% cost for using card. Then Al said if I pay cash the cost would be $360.00 which is what I paid. A few hours later 2 testers came out to perform mold testing in my 1 bedroom and hvac closet. Testing was to be completed within 24 hours. After several calls I finally received results confirming mold levels on October 7, 2024. I have since spoken to Al numerous times since requesting cost to perform the necassary work. He keeps saying I will send something over. As of today October 21, 2024 still nothing. I would appear his goal was only about pushing the mold testing. I am not confident that he had a team to perform the necassary job he responded to. I would not recommend or refer anyone to this company... I'm Feeling very manipulated misled and taken advantage of.

    We are always committed to help any our normal rate for testing is $475 for air samples of 2 one in and one out plus we charge for additional tests or swab. We tested and added a swab test for a discount price of 360 cash the reason as I explained we dont charge 3% we the credit cards do as a service fee that is standard with many processors. I lower the price to help her HER as we sent 2 techs immediately to her home. The lab took longer than expected do to the hurricanes as I explained. We have provided serval scenarios for services, even tried helping her find a HVAC TECH to remove and reset the furnace. I tried calling and leaving messages as I can show the call log of the last time I called recently and left a message. She tells me she wants an estimate but always trys to make it cheaper but claims the build is going to pay for it? We charge what it is nothing more. However we lowered our price for this customer and to work with her. We educated her on mold spores and now I feel bad for the review after going above and beyond to help the customer.
