They sent me an extremely dirty, dinged up item and insisted that it was new. I contacted Century within hours of its receipt with photos. They blamed manufacturer "Pool Boy" who later said that "Horizon" acting as "Century Pool"on Amazon was at fault. Do a business entity search. They are one and the same and list the same address. The Cook ********************** says the address does not exist. Call them and see- I dare you! There is even a picture on ****** of a parking lot. I drove by intending to return the item. Went back and forth from early June to mid August with Amazon and Century blaming each other. They knew what they were doing by sending a 5 lb label for a 60 lb item. It would have cost $108 to return in addition to the $1,600 I spent to begin with. Amazon denied the A-Z 3rd party seller refund 3 times because the company repeatedly objected, saying they sent a label but I didn't return the item! This is Century Pool's way of doing business. I filed a lawsuit in August. Suddenly, they sent a refund and a letter saying to keep the item, but drop the lawsuit. They only did it because they were caught. So I said no. Went to court 3 months after this fiasco began and told them I'd still return the item in my vehicle. They refused. Apparently, they know its trash. In court, Century's own employee admitted it was "very dirty" and he "would be upset" if he received an item in its condition. I asked to at least recover my court fees. The judge decided that since ******* made an 11th hour refund after months of playing games that all things were now equal.Folks, do yourself a favor and stay away from companies who would rather hire an attorney and take you through this much frustration, time and expense for a simple refund of a defective product. Had I not filed a lawsuit, Century Pool would have never paid me. I understand and respect the judge's ruling. She felt because Century said I can keep the item that this is fair. I disagree your honor, lol.
