      THIS COMPANY PROMISE TO TEACH ME HOW TO TRADE AND WANTED ***** THEN WANTED ME TO PUT IN A ACCOUNT ****** AND THEY PUT ****** ON A NOT SURE ? NEVER DID IT BEFORE AND WAS TOLD TO JUST WATCH AND THE NEXT I CHECK THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT AND THEY GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND TRY TO GET MY ***** BUT THEY DELETED MY ACCOUNT SAID I NEEDED MORE INFO

      I have been using Tastytrade for many years. One day I decided to change my original ACH account to another of my bank account. I consult tasty general help along the way.However when I make a withdrawal, ***** sent me a message saying ACH and wire fund in has a 60 days holding period for the purpose of preventing transferring money out to another Account. I have curiosity whether this is working as it said, I take notes of another Tastytrade helps staff advice, knowing that check deposits do not have this 60 days rule. So, I send in a check and withdraw later to test it. This time, the Tastytrade banking department not only stopped me withdrawing but also closing my account. Since their action is one sided, so I requested them to send the money to my linked account, but they refused and force me to give them instructions to wire. Personally, I dont like wire option and they refuse to cooperate and holding up my money now. I just feel like they like dictating, abusing their right and wrongfully treating a customer. I request ******************** management steps in and give me an explanation!

The Firm has been diligent in responding to your inquiries regarding withdrawal transfers, and has offered to reimburse you for outgoing wire transfer fees in an effort to assist you and provide you with a means to withdraw your funds within the 60-day time period.       Cannot be trusted! In addition to their terrible customer service, they will stop at nothing to extract your money. I encountered an issue after they revamped their platform. Upon realizing the mistake, I promptly notified them and requested the erroneous charges be waived. Their response was that, as a self-directed brokerage, all responsibility lies with me, whether by design or accident. The parallel with this way of thinking is: if someone intended to pay you with a $10 bill to cover an $8 bill plus a tip but accidentally handed you a $100 bill, you should keep the money even if they realize the mistake and ask you to return it, since it was the customer's duty to be vigilant. One can argue it is legally right, but ethically it certainly is not. From a young age, my father instilled in me the principle that keeping money that doesn't rightfully belong or hasn't been earned legitimately may yield short-term gains but ultimately leads to greater poverty. A thriving relationship cannot be built on such principles. Hence, my advice is to steer clear and not place your trust in them!

As you stated in your email correspondence with our Trade Desk, there was no issue or error with the tastytrade platform, or erroneous charges to your account. As explained in our responses, the charges you are referring to is the debit margin interest you incurred as a result of you borrowing funds on margin to purchase certain securities held in your account. We are more than happy to assist you further on any additional questions you may have.
