  I studied abroad with IES Abroad **** during the fall semester of my junior year. My experience made so many dreams come true, and I am so grateful I had this opportunity. I am enrolled in an Italian language program at my home University, so the choice to study in **** was an easy choice to immerse myself in Italian culture and the language. The classes I took were diverse and interesting, the staff were very supportive, and my Professors were nothing but helpful and passionate. I lived in a lovely apartment in a residential neighborhood of ****, only a ten-minute walk away from the *******. I passed *************************** and the Tiber River every day on the way to class. The staff at the *** center offered fun trips and programs throughout the semester, like gelato making, wine tasting, olive picking, and more! I was also lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel around ****** on the weekends and visit cities like *******, *********, and ********. I would recommend this program to students exploring study abroad options in ****, *****!

  I studied abroad with IES Abroad and they do an amazing job of blending cultural learning experiences with language learning, and I also was able to meet so many local students and make new friends.

  I studied abroad in ****** with IES Abroad's Health Practice and Policy program my junior year. This is an amazing program for students interested in healthcare. The program is based in ****** and *******, and is a combination of healthcare policy courses and community health clinic experiences. There is also the opportunity to take a course at a partner university. I would recommend this program to anyone looking for expanding their cultural horizons - the program is very well developed and has led to personal and professional growth.

  I studied abroad with IES during the spring semester of my sophomore year, and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. The classes I took were interesting, and I was able to come away from my time abroad having learned about different topics I would've never had the chance to learn about back at home. The living accommodation were great; I got to live in the local student housing with local and international students, which helped me a lot with immersing myself in the local culture and learning about the city. All in all, it was such an amazing experience, and I highly recommend to anyone with the chance to study abroad with IES.

  I studied abroad Fall of my Junior Year of College with IES and it was the best semester I have ever experienced. The professors, the administration, and everyone working for IES as a whole are the sweetest and most caring people. The accommodations were incredible (single room with your own kitchen and bathroom!!) and they always made sure everyone felt included -- whether that was bonding events at your place of residence while abroad, or setting up day trips so everyone would have something to do, it was truly a supportive group. I also had to deal with a health issue while abroad, and ended up needing to go to ****************'s office, and I was afraid of how that would be handled, especially being in a brand new country, but with the support and assistance of those at IES, I felt so much more at ease and it ended up being a lot less stressful of an appointment than I thought it would be. I highly recommend IES to anyone who is thinking about it!

  I had an amazing experience on an IES Abroad program in ******. They placed me with a family that was a great match, provided interesting classes at the *** center, and overall, I couldn't have been happier. Strong communication from them before, during, and after the program as well and the **** application process went smoothly with the forms they provided me. Overall, a positive experience all around, at least in my experience.

  I spent a semester in ********* with IES Abroad and LOVED every moment of it. We had a smaller staff, but everyone was connected to the students and supportive through every step of the process. They truly tried their best to give us a full experience with fun events that also kept our safety in mind through every moment of the pandemic. I enjoyed the education seminars we did abroad to learn about the host country culture and history. I have nothing but praise for the ************* office staff! I did have some hiccups and confusion with my contacts at the *** Headquarters during my application process. I randomly was assigned a new advisor in the middle of my process and oftentimes wouldn't hear back from staff in a timely manner about major topics like my **** application. The biggest issue I faced was an email that was sent with the wrong university portal information and inaccurate instruction materials. I had to be very proactive in my efforts to clarify confusing or wrong information. Overall I would still rate *** highly and encourage everyone to explore the programs if they're considering education abroad.

  IES Abroad only cares about taking students money and their "advisors" don't know right from left. They made us put a deposit down, select housing, and many other factors for a trip to take this upcoming summer. I have been planning on this so I didn't apply for any jobs or internships now we are 5 weeks before summer and they canceled the trip due to there not being "enough" people! The house I looked at was single housing and the trip is catered through a local college. My "advisor" has had very poor communication and just here to benefit off of college students money. 10/10 do not recommend if you travel abroad do it through any other company you can because they will just let you down constantly.
