I designed an art piece which I decided I wanted to turn into a tattoo. I had known about Tattoo Factory for a while, and thought it was a reputable studio with talented artists. I was COMPLETELY wrong ! I messaged an artist named ******* at the studio about my tattoo idea, and he agreed it'd be a cool tattoo and that he'd do it for me. Wound up talking to him through Instagram about the idea, but then he proceeded to tell me about why he, as a 35 year old man, did not have a girlfriend and how why have a girlfriend when you don't have a castle. Mind you, I'm 18 and just wanted to discuss my tattoo and get to know him as a person. Skip forward, and we're in the midst of discussing my tattoo. I told him I wanted it as close to my design as possible, which is detailed pen work, and he made my tattoo look cartoonish. But that's not even what upset me. What upset me is that we were discussing my tattoo and I thanked him for his patience with my edit requests, and he messaged me, "you're a cutie but i won't flirt in person and all I do stay professional". Which is as unprofessional as possible, and made me uncomfortable. I wound up being encouraged by families, friends, and strangers to message his employer, the owner of the studio. I messaged him through Instagram and email, no response. However, ******* messaged me asking why I wanted to speak with his manager. So the owner could not directly respond to me but could tell ******* that I messaged? I messaged the owner a long paragraph over how ******* had acted and how uncomfortable it had made me, as well as how his behavior was unprofessional. The owner left me on open and then proceeded to block me. If an owner of a professional business is unable to care enough about his customers, especially his female customers, than I encourage any females on here and anyone who cares about females, please do not go to this studio. I've even discussed this with other tattoo artists who have agreed that this is WILDLY inappropriate
