160 Driving Academy advertises a 4-week CDL training program that promises to prepare students for a successful career in trucking. That was one of the main reasons I chose this school. However, within just a few days, it became clear that this timeline was completely unrealistic. The program structure is disorganized and lacks clear communication or scheduling. Many days were wasted with no driving instruction at all. We were often just sitting around waiting with no guidance, supervision, or productive use of ******* reality, you can expect this 4-week course to take two to three times as longat a minimum. The lack of planning, coordination, and hands-on training makes it nearly impossible to complete the course in the advertised time frame. And its not just delays; its intentional neglect of training time, often designed to stretch out the course until you either give up or pay more.******** ***** was one of the most unpleasant and unprofessional individuals I have ever encountered in a customer service or educational setting. She was rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to answer questions or help resolve issues. When I tried to get clarity about scheduling or additional fees, she responded with an attitude as if I was bothering her. At one point, she even hung up on me when I called to ask why I hadnt been scheduled for more drive time.Other students I spoke with also had negative experiences with her. Her behavior is completely unacceptable in any professional environmentespecially in an educational institution where people are paying thousands of dollars and depending on staff to help them succeed. She made an already stressful situation worse with her disrespect and unwillingness to help.

School is a scam. 4 students were learning the manual including me. One guy had an issue with his permit. 2 guys failed their road test. They forgot to submit my license and now I have to wait an additional 5 weeks for the next available test. No preparation. 0/4. The school claims you can get your CDL in 4 weeks. I'm waiting for more than 3 1/2 months. Out of 160 hours, you'll be on the road for a little over an hour, and that's from me complaining about not getting enough road time. The school cuts your yard time. You're supposed to be there from 8-4:30 everyday. They cut every day to 4pm, some days, even less. One of the instructors claims the school doesn't want to pay him overtime so they have to leave. That's not my problem. I paid good money. You stay. Lazy instructors. Lunch is from ****pm. One time after lunch I started the truck to begin my maneuvers. It was around 1:05pm. Fat instructor comes out of the trailer and scolds me because no instructors were on the yard. Again, not my problem. You're taking time away from me. If you can't eat your lunch in an hour, that's your problem. Then they have the nerve to have a group meeting about students not coming into yard on time. Practice what you preach. I did everything as quickly as possible. I knew my entire pre-trip in 4 days. My maneuvers and road skills were solid. You ain't finishing anytime near 4 weeks. Go to another school, trust me. These instructors talk smack about each other and the company that employs them.

The staff is careless. They take their sweet time scheduling your training. I paid them 5 weeks ago and so have only gotten 1 week of training.

I started this school earlier this year... upon getting my permit I was sent to the yard. The class is over crowded they dont have the patience to teach you exactly what you need to know... I wanted to do manual but because they didnt have the patience with me my 3rd day in the instructor insisted I switch to automatic which puts a restriction on my license... that I did not want .. I ended up failing my first test and had to reschedule my 2nd test ... they dropped me but ******** law I completed my ******************************************************** they schedule testing 2 weeks out so you are out of class that time period and that isnt good for the student ... I feel like they get your money and dont care if you pass or fail... since then I contacted the head of 160 program and complained... I now had been out of class 5 weeks they rescheduled my test because I complained and had me come back for 2 days which clearly isnt enough time to study and practice for your cdl .. I dont think they understand how screwed up their program is... Im upset because I get3 chances by law through ******** and they only allowed me 2 chances .. oh because they are already paid so no matter what they have gotten their money and Im just another dollar sign they will continue to do this to students as long as no one takes initiative to get them looked into and really see how they run the program ... cdl is serious and should be taken that way sincerely a upset student who feels like they took my money and gave up on me...
