I bought a used 2006 **** Commander ******* from RM Motors with a ************************************ on 12/20/22. The Check Engine light came on 24 hours after I bought the car. I checked the radiator--it had no fluid. I filled the radiator with appropriate coolant. I checked the oil and the other fluids. I called RM Motors 4 times, asking for the manager, ***********************, to call me back about the check engine light. The manager did not call me back. After another 3 days, the car was still under 500 miles driven and less than 15 days in my possession. I called RM Motors again to ask to speak to ****** because the **** would now not start. I could not drive the car. I towed the **** to a trusted, licensed mechanic, who ran a diagnostic test and said the oil pressure sensor needed to be replaced, the radiator leaks (needing to be replaced), and the transmission cooling lines leak (needing to be replaced). I called RM Motors again and ****** answered. I told him the car would not run and that it was in my garage (towed back). He said he would send a tow truck. That was December 31, still within the 500 mile/15 day warranty. I still have not seen a tow truck even though I called several times that day, speaking to 2 employees asking about the tow to the RM Motors auto shop at ******************************. The car has not been towed. I brought the **** back to the mechanic to have the transmission cooling lines, the radiator, and the ignition fixed. I have not heard from RM Motors. The business has not followed up. Tomorrow is the 15th day of ownership and I want to file this before the warranty expires. The warranty states "Systems covers: Power/Train; Duration: 15 day/500 mile whichever comes first. We will fix the check engine light." The car does not move on it's own power and the transmission lines had to be replaced, and I am wondering how a mechanic at RM Motors could be missing/ignoring an issue like that. The work for the *********************** is $1,002.10
