      I took my dog, ******** in for diarrhea/vomiting on 7/6/24. They immediately required a payment of $4044.64, without any explanation. Dr. ****** explained the invoice. I told her that she just had X-rays the day before at her regular vet. She was initially placed in a kennel, then they moved her outside the kennel for convenience of rotating her (which I only observed them doing once in 3 days). She was not provided with a water bowl the entire time she was there. On the third day, she was showing improvement, but no one ever informed me of this. Her diarrhea stopped, her vomiting stopped, her vitals stabilized, she ate solid food and kept it down and had a solid bowel movement. The doctor told me that there was nothing further they could do. They could refer me to a neurological center or it might be time to say good bye. The doctor sat next to me, waiting for me to be make the biggest decision of my dog's life. I was in a fragile state of mind and relied on the doctor's advice. I opted to say good bye. Had she told me that my dog was showing improvement, I would NOT have made that decision. I incurred an additional $2360.05 in fees. A few days later, I thought about it and realized that she was improving and sent an email to the vet office. After multiple emails, I finally get a response from the office manager over a MONTH later. Their insurance company stated that since I refused the **** that they were not negligent. My refusal for an MRI has nothing to do with the fact that she was showing signs of improvement or the poor treatment my dog and I received.

      On Oct 8, I took my dog to the ** and he got blood work done in 20 min. They even shared the results in person. Before leaving I asked for a print out of the blood results, and they said it would be emailed to me and sent to my vet. I never got the results. I called my vet on Monday am, and they didnt receive them. I called this business on Monday afternoon and they asked for my email and said they were on the way. I only got the receipt. I called them again to follow up and they said that they were waiting for the vet to finalize the results and give them the ok to release them, and that they were coming. I still havent gotten them. I need the results immediately so that I can find another vet to conduct follow up tests in case my dog has liver damage. I already paid them but they wont release the service that I already paid for.
