On 3/12, I paid ****** a deposit of $3000 for waterproofing work to be done. On 3/18, the workers came out to start digging. This was done before obtaining a permit from the Village or contacting ***** for utility lines to be marked on my property. The building inspector rode by my home and stopped the workers from digging. It wasnt until after the village building inspector stopped the work was the proper paperwork submitted for permit. Paperwork was submitted to the Village on 3/18. I contacted ***** on 3/24, per ******* request. While waiting on the permit to be issued, I was in contact with ****** via text and phone calls at least once a week asking for an update. In the meantime, there has been a large hole along the entire east side of my home since 3/18; with rain from one of my downspouts going directly into the hole during a rainy Spring. Beginning 4/11, I started contacting the Village myself to get an update. On 4/30, an employee from the village came to my home with a list of approved waterproofing contractor, and told me that they will not be approving EFF to work on my home due to not having proper certification. I contacted ****** to let him know of the visit on 4/30. The morning of 5/1, I texted asking for my deposit to be returned to me. He asked that I let him speak with the village that morning. After not hearing anything from ****** by the evening, I told him I cannot continue to wait on the village to issue a permit and will be moving forward with another contractor, and that I would like my deposit returned to me. I received no response. On 5/5, I called ****** and was sent to voicemail. I received a text saying he would call me back. Prior to asking for my deposit to be returned, when he said he would call me back, he usually did it. As of 10:15p on 5/5, the call hasnt been returned. It seems now that I am asking for my deposit to be returned, his behavior has changed. I feel like he is now avoiding me. I just want my money back.

Good afternoon, we solved the issue that was created by the village and were happy to say everything has been done professionally.

    Thank you.
