On 10/12/2023 I visited European Wax Center for waxing services. Once those services were completed I went to check out and was offered a wax pass membership to which I agreed to. At that point I paid for my wax and the pass which was close to $300 (the wax pass itself is $155). A week after getting waxed, my skin just got really irritated. Having suffered irritation before and knowing that the cost of waxing in the long run was going to be the same as permanent laser hair removal I decided to just cancel my membership instead. On 11/10/2023, I visited a EWC location in the loop area on **************** I spoke to the receptionist and tried to cancel. She told me she couldnt do it but would leave a message for her manager to get back to me the next day. On 11/11/2023 no body got back to me. On 11/12/2023 I got charged $155 for the wax pass I tried to cancel. I reached out to the Pulaski location this time to have my wax pass canceled only to be told the same thing that she would leave a note for a manager to get back to me. I told her that this was told to me already and not really helpful. When I asked when her manager would be available she said she didnt know. I have tried calling numerous times and keep getting the same answer. At this point I feel like Im getting the run around.
