So, I paid excel digital group $2000 to help me self publish a book. The process started June 29 of 2022. I was promised the process would *********** months. Its been going on a year and a half and I have yet to receive the product I paid for. Through this process I have been extremely patient but my patience has run out. I ask the company for a refund of the services not rendered and I was told that my product was completed. This is a ******************** as I was told in next line that my product was complete but I had to wait a little longer. This has been the tune all along. Ive been waiting for a year and a half. I am rejecting this response because: Excel Digital Group is not being honest regarding the baseless assumptions put forth in their response to my complaint. Their base assumption which states that "Throughout the entirety of their engagement, the client never raised concerns about project delays. It is only after receiving the completed work, and presumably finding a potentially cheaper alternative publisher, that the client seeks to nullify the agreement and demand a refund," is false. Per the contract which was sent by Excel Digital Group the completed work was not just a finished book. Publishing was also involved as well as ***** promo video all which were never completed. The issue was never the completed pages of the book, which by the way I had completed and delivered by my artist on 2/13/23. If I wanted to seek other options, why would I wait 10 months. Please see attach email about personal book and editing costs. Excel Digital Group did minimal editing at best, and because the book is a comic I had to go back and pay my artist for any editing that needed to be done. I completed and filled out the publication paperwork Excel asked for in March. Then I patiently did it again in September. Why was it that everything was truly ready for publication in December after I got fed up and demanded a refund. How convenient was that on their part?My change of heart came when repeated attempts to get the project completed, and by completed, I mean published with the video promo, were being ignored and pushed back. The attached email communication from Excel Digital Group on 12/18/23 was a last-ditch effort on their part to give the impression that there was no incompetence on their part. In my attach emails you will see a desire from me to get the book published. Please take into consideration the gap in months. There was also many phone conversations and texts. Also, there were more than three project managers that Excel attached to my project. The first was *****************************, followed by ***********************, and then ***********************. Throughout the whole process I was patient, and I also spent a lot more than the $2,000 I am requesting in my refund. You will find in the email attachments an email which clearly states that I wanted to get the ball rolling with publication back in March.
I will conclude with this. I approved the publication of my book with excel digital group on March 8th, 2023 (see attached and signed paperwork). In December of 2023 I was still dealing with the fact that the contract was never completed. My change of heart was due to the incompetence displayed over months by excel digital group and I will not settle for anything less than a full refund.

I gave this company ample time to produce or make good on their end of the contract. They never did. I expect the $2,000 I paid them to be refunded back. All theyre doing currently is just dragging this on.

I called Excel Digital Group on 7/27/22 and talked to ( ********************* ) ************************ at ************** . I decided to go with the website company to do a dating site for me, ( Bikers ************** The total price was $1588.00 with half down at the start and the other half due when the website is done and active. I paid $794.00 on August 30,2022. ************** handed me over to ********************* I signed the contract on 8/29/22 . On September 16,2022 , ************** had me pay $1852.00 for the website server. When I looked at the contract it said the server is free for one year. When I told ************** he said I should of caught it before I paid and would not return my money. The layout and all the words (text) are my own designs. I was going to use my artwork from a artist but ************** convinced me to have the website company to do my artwork for $953.00 which I paid on November 8th,2022. I paid the website company a total of $3599.00 and was told to copyright and trademark my Logo and Slogan before going active. The copyright was $65.00 and the Trademark was $775.00 with a total of $4439.00 paid out. I left a message and a text that if they pay me the $3,599.00 and give me what is done with the website with the artwork so I can continue with the copyright and trademark. If not then I want the $4439.00 back to start over with a honest company. It's been a long year of countless calls and emails and texts and they are never available to talk and take days and sometimes two weeks before they get back to me. They fired ************** a few months ago and a *************************** took over the project. She is never in until late afternoons and doesn't keep our schedule appointments to go over the website. She waits for days or weeks to call me back. This has been a long year waiting on the website to be done and I'm tired of it. I am rejecting this response because: I reject the response from Excel Digital Group. They have my website active but it doesn't let me get past the payment page and doesn't take any card to get in to join. The Highlights don't let me post any activity on the ( Blessing of the Bikes or on Events and Rallies). I don't have the back office to make any changes to the website. I didn't receive any business card's for the website. I have saved all emails from the beginning of the contract and all texts from Excel Digital Group. On the contract it says in #2 and #3 has the deadline for October 1st,2022 and failure to meet the deadline will result in a refund. The contract has one year Server and yet they charged me $1499.00 for the one year and told me they would give me three years for the money they took from me. They didn't give my website ************ sign up for ( ******** or ****** or Live Chat integration or Video uploader or Five Banner Designs. Also; I didn't get a One year SSL Certificate or Free ****** Friendly Site map or Complete W3C certificate HTML. Please read the contract to verify my statement. I didn't receive any Banners or Post Go-Live Support for 3 months. I will go through all the texts I received from Excel Digital Group to show you how I refuse the three year host server and ask for my money back. I only wanted the one year that is in the contract. If the website is live but I can't get into it past the payment page and can't post anything on the Blessing of the Bikes then I don't have a website.

I am rejecting this response because: I sent a message to *************************** on 4/8/2024 and asked her to consider my proposal to finish the website and to please contact me if she is willing to work together. I haven't received any messages or emails or phone calls from her or ************ from Excel Digital Group LLC. If they contact me and the website gets done and works properly I will be contacting you. The website they have up and active doesn't work and it doesn't process the payment to join and the Highlights doesn't let you submit any information.

I had gave a deposit down on a contract for this company to publish my book. After about 10 days I started to see that the company was not a good fit. They started acting like they didnt understand what I was saying they kept prolonging mean and holding me off to get my money, they kept telling me not to go to the bank to get my money because it would make the transaction longer for them to send me the check, they said that they would send me a check and they never did now theyre not answering the telephone. I paid ****** for Excel Digital Group to design my website on December 13, 2022. I was asked when I wanted it done by, and I requested December 31, 2022. It is now February and my website is not completed. I changed the password on the website so I couldn't be locked out. I have been soley communicating with one person at Excel. On January 21, I asked when it would be completed and she replied it would be done January 27th. It is now February 8, 2023 and apparently, there have been several complaints about this company. They stole my money. I hired this company to edit and publish my book. The experience was terrible. When I did not trust them anymore and want to go somewhere else to get the job done I asked for my money back. They didnt give it to me they negotiated a discount and didnt follow through with that either. So I dispute the charges with my bank. The bank advised that the 1st payment of ****** on 3/15/22 was out dated and could not be disputed and they reversed the charges back to excel on Aug 15,2022 and advise that I go directly to them to get the money back. I did and from that day to this one last correspondence was on 12/14/2022 where they advised they Would send my money on the 31st through Zelle and I should have it by 1/5/23 still no money. I strongly felt that Excel Digital Group has unethical business practices in the entire process. Deception and lies are part of their business. I signed up with them to upgrade my website on Aug 15th, 2022 with their commitment to complete it within 2-4 weeks and prepaid the money. Nearly three months are passed, and Work is not completed.I asked them to return the money, There is no response from them. Hi *****, Even today, my website is not complete, In the Home page the video frame is not properly aligned, It is not mobile friendly for smartphone landscape or tablet. I am including here screen shots. I asked you guys to move text in one of the video clip to move bit up since the text is so close to bottom edge of the frame and cutting off, no response for that for weeks/months. I took help from another source for the video, they redid the video work in 3-4 hours, another revision within 5 minutes, I see technical expertise and basic decency in the entire transaction. Including here screen shot of my new video.
I am including here one issue as sample of my interaction with you guys. When someone is planning to go live, they remove water**** in the video and post on live website. In my case, video with water **** was posted, When I pointed out about water****, older version of the video was posted, When I pointed out about video being older version, current version of the video with
current version of the video with low resolution was posted, When I pointed out about videos lower resolution, then proper version of the video was posted, this entire process took ***** days. I only have one video for the entire website, then there is no room for confusion. I have everyday backups, it is not difficult to prove which file-when was uploaded, I observed Dirty tactics/Deceiving in every transaction. BBB informed me that there was no response to my complaint, Any decent business responds to customer complaints. We will see where it goes. I do not have any faith and trust in your guys, some other source is taking care of the things to fix my website to go live.Thank you

I hired this company to design a website for me they told me that my website would be put up by August 31 2022. The only thing that was delivered was a test web site. Everytime I call them they tell me that my website will be up by the end of the day but they never even attempt to put my website up. The quality of the test website is not formatted correctly and the verbage and colors are not custom to what we discussed. They told me that it would change once they put my website up.
