    Unacceptable Treatment of a Legally Blind Patron - Stay Away!I am writing this review to share my disappointing and unacceptable experience at this establishment. As a legally blind individual with some residual vision, I typically rely on my white identification cane for assistance, but on this particular occasion, I had left it at home by accident. I was under the impression that I could manage without it.Upon arriving at the bar with my fiance, I kindly asked the bartender to inform me of the available beer options, as I am unable to read menus. To my shock, the bartender's response was incredibly rude, dropping an "F bomb" and speaking to me in a condescending tone. I politely expressed my displeasure with his behavior, but he continued to be offensive.I cannot help but wonder if the presence of my cane would have altered his treatment of me, but frankly, it shouldn't matter. There is absolutely no excuse for treating any patron, disabled or not, in such a disrespectful manner.I urge you to avoid this establishment and instead visit the numerous other pubs and breweries that treat all their patrons, regardless of their abilities, with kindness and respect.

    Greetings. I'm truly sorry and shocked to read about your experience at our tap room.

    We followed up on your complaint with our entire team. Sadly, no one remembers the situation you're describing, and several employees mentioned that they've taken the time to read the menu to people who can't do so on their own for any reason. Even so, please know that we're covering this topic during our preshift meetings this weekend to make absolutely sure that everyone who works at Metro Brewing is reminded that we will always, ALWAYS take the time to tend to everyone who visits ** with the ************.

    We also reviewed ADA ********** websites to make sure that we're following the best practices to ensure that anyone who visits ** has a positive experience. With regard to partial blindness, in addition to our handheld menus, we also have large-print signage up in the tap room identifying our products. Hopefully this, along with a bit of staff (re)training, will ensure that our service meets the highest standards.

    Please know that you will always be warmly welcomed back should you decide to give ** another try.
