    I ordered a new French Bookcase Door in October of 2023 at a cost about $3500. Door was delivered on 10/23/23. My contractor was scheduled to install it on 10/26/23. On the date of installation half way through the installation they found several pieces of hardware missing. Murphy did not include the Confirmat screws, or the Flat Head ******** ***** Point screws, and the wrong shelf pins. I called Murphy doors and explained to them that my contractor was scheduled on that day, and they would charge me another trip fee of $160 to return on another day since they were from another part of town 40 miles away. Murphy said it was not their problem because I should have inspected the product before they came. The problem with that is I have no clue what was missing since Im not the installer, and Im a senior citizen who is unable to open the packaging myself. Thats why I hired someone. Long story short, the contractor had to return on another day charging me another trip fee to install my door because Murphy didnt do a quality check before my door was shipped without the necessary hardware. I spoke to **** at Murphy door who said it wasnt their problem, but she would send me a $50 gift card. Well I never got the gift card, and never heard back from **** regarding her promises. A $50 gift card is a small concession for the $160 I was out of pocket because of their mistake. Definitely would not recommend this company because they dont stand behind what they sell even when its their fault. Buyer Beware
