THIS COMPANY IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH TRYING TO GET MY 2 MONTH OLD ******* S23 ULTRA REPLACED SINCE AUGUST OF 2024. I FOLLOWED THEIR DIRECTIONS AND SENT THE PHONE BACK. THEY RECEIVED IT IN SEPTEMBER AND I RECEIVED A ******* A12 AS A REPLACEMENT OVER 2 MONTHS LATER. I THEN FOLLOWED THIER DIRECTIONS TO SEND THAT ONE BACK AND THEY ASSURED ME THAT THE CORRECT PHONE WOULD BE SENT. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REPLACEMENT. I CAN NEVER GET A HUMAN ON THE PHONE THAT CAN GIVE ME A STRAIGHT ANSWER.

I used Total Wireless for years and was happy. As soon as I learned Verizon bought Total Wireless in 2022 I knew there would be problems. I pay monthly for no contract phone service. Since Verizon took control it has happened about every three months I get a notice on my phone "No network connection available". My wif-i is separate from my phone service. This notice is my phone letting me know there is no service from Verizon. Can't call out, calls either can't come in at all or go to voice-mail without any indication a call even came through. Sometimes I can text, sometimes not. Troubleshooting with Verizon early on was easy, maybe half an hour to fix. This has been going on now for more than a year and a half. Wednesday I started tech support at 10 a.m.. Five agents, and five hours later, they resolved the issue - after I was refused when I said I was done with Verizon and I wanted my service payment refunded. I threatened them with coming to the BBB to complain - and my phone is fixed. Same problem today. Service not available to my phone, more than two hours with an agent and no fix. I was told corporate could call me to take it up a level. How does corporate call a non-working phone? Email was not an option according the agent. Suddenly it's my problem since I live alone and don't have a second phone. I haven't been able to call out on my phone now for over 15 hours. I'm paying for phone service and not getting phone service. Verizon "policy" doesn't do refunds. And frankly, the condescension that starts to come across from the agents is pathetic as time goes on. Telling me to go outside and try to make a call when I have 4 bars on my phone. Leaving Verizon. A refund would be nice.

June 1, 2024 I went to Total by Verizon at *************** to activate a new android. *************************** pretended to activate my new android and even showed me the screen that said Activation Successful. I paid $87.56 and the the phone was never activated. I have paid this company ***** dollars for 5 years of service. I had 3 months of lost service and May 27, 28, 29, 30, 2024 little to no signal. I want a refund! Please give me back my $87.56.

bought a phone in store on ************************, June 7th. Agents there told me I was buying a 2023 phone, the 'newest & latest' 5G. They told me I only had to pay the first month fee higher than the basic plan of $30 per month - that turned out to be false. A few weeks later I find out the phone was actually a 2021 that came out in 2022. I find out that I was put on a $50 per month plan instead of the $30. The agent said he changed it to the $30, but he did not! Another big, fat, lie?? The in store agents also didn't give me any of my Account Info., like my acct'. number, name on account, etc. When I left the store all I had was my new phone and it's phone number. When I confronted the agent in the store, she told me the store ONLY sells 2024 phones, and she told me the phone I bought was a 2024 model - both of these statements were FALSE. I looked up the model # and IMEI of the phone online, and it said the phone was a 2022. The people LIE and they lie a LOT. My experience in store was that they brushed me aside to wait on potential customers gave me the definite impression that once they get your money, they don't care about you anymore. They only care about getting NEW customers. The phone I bought there also had a small crack in the back case; the agents tried to say that I caused the damage. They kept trying to push that particular phone on me when I tried to look at other phones in the store, telling me that phone was the 'latest and newest' phone they had. Well, by now I think you get the picture. Now, I will report them to the BBB and to the **** Their agents do have thick accents and are sometimes hard to understand; you have to ask them to repeat themselves often. Online is even worse. The entire cell phone industry in my opinion, is nothing but a racket, forced upon the public when old *** took away all the pay phone booths off the face of the earth; **** him. Good ole' *** ought to pay for all our cell phone service because of that.

The so-called 'Total by Verizon' is merely an extension of the intentionally, maliciously negligent, clientele-despising business model so long established by the earlier Verizon Wireless brand. Everything about both firms' practices going back years shows neither has any priority in mind of providing reliable services for their customers. A review of the latter firm's over 500 one-star reviews on this BBB venue provides a lengthy, detailed horror story of customers treated with passive-aggressive ******************* by a 'customer service' apparatus which has intentionally been set up halfway around the world from their American user base, so that **********************'s dearth of ethics, and its malignant indifference to any concept of being a telecom provider carrying with it a duty of care toward public safety, will never be liable to American laws or accessible by American public-interest groups such as the BBB. Having recently been maneuvered by Verizon's false & misleading marketing into switching accounts from the Wireless version to the Total version (whose ****************** are incompatible for no good reason), I discovered immediately that the Total version is just as committed to neglecting & abusing its customers as the Wireless version had shown ************* I know who uses them, for over a decade. Contacting either 'customer service' by any means is reliably a nightmarish anxiety-inducing pageant of runarounds, nonsensical statements made by live phone operatives who speak such poor English that one can hardly even recognize it as English, or chat personas which are one after another obvious AI bots with fake names which lie and assure the customer that they are genuine human agents. Neither Verizon brand has any moral or ethical right to be in business at all. Soon I will be switching to a local carrier whose employees are also neighbors & know how to act like it. Doing business with Verizon has been a needless ordeal, and a bad mistake I will not make again.
