    I purchased a 10 class package with yogaSix in September 21, 2022 in the amount of $269 in the south loop location. I used 4 classed, with 6 unused classes. Without any notice, they put out a sign at the door says that this location is closed, in Ocotber. The only contact they leave on the sign is to reach out to YogaSix GoldCoast. It took them months to get back to me and told me that they cant refund me the unused class!

    This customer was not a customer of **********************, but a customer of ********************** South Loop, an entirely independent business from YogaSix Gold Coast with different ownership. YogaSix South Loop closed, and the owners of YogaSix Gold Coast are helping manage its remaining customers. This complaint relates to YogaSix South Loop, not YogaSix Gold Coast.

     

    With that being said, YogaSix Gold Coast is able to refund the customer for the class sessions that were unused at YogaSix South Loop. We are reaching out to the customer regarding their refund today.

    I attended classes at this studio for about 6 months and loved it....until I tried to cancel my membership. The front desk tells me that you need to email a random email address ("the manager") approximately 30 days before you want to end your subscription. - I email the manager to cancel and never hear back on 10/31/2022.- I am charged $***** for a monthly subscription on 11/28/2022.- I email the manager a second time on 11/28/2022 to cancel my membership - i am charged $***** for a monthly membership on 12/27/2022.- I call the studio on 12/26/2022 and 12/27/2022 and an employee tells me to forward my previous 2 emails to her. She will cancel my membership and forward them to corporate for a refund.- I forward my 2 emails to this employee on 12/27/2022 where she confirms that she will forward them to corporate. I never hear back.- I email this employee again, explaining that I have not heard anything and to please forward corporate's information so that I can follow-up myself on 1/2/2023 and never hear back.- I call the studio on 1/3/2023 and 1/4/2023 and ask for corporate's phone number to contact myself. -I call corporate on 1/11/2023 and get sent to a vague voice-mail with no message. I leave a detailed message with all of my contact information and never hear back.I would like a refund at least the 12/27/2022 charge of ***** dollars. However, I think I also deserve a refund of $***** for the November charge as well. This is extremely unprofessional at best and a scam at worst. Please look at the *********** reviews for this location, as I am not the only one dealing with this issue.

    I renewed my membership to Yoga Six South Loop on November 30th, 2021 for a cost of $1,197 (I had been a member since March 2018). The general manager ***************************** emailed me with the subject line "15 month annual agreement invoice" from the official Yoga Six South Loop general manager email **************************************** saying that I have access to the studio until 8/24/23, as the membership I was paying for did not start for 6 months as I was prepaying and my last contract applied until then.On 10/14/2022, the studio permanently closed with no written notice to members. I called the Gold Coast GM *********************** (which has the same franchise owner as South Loop) on 11/13 to cancel my membership, but he claimed that my membership would end on November 29, 2022 (thus denying 9 months of my membership). He refuses to put me in touch with anyone such as corporate or the franchise owner to right this issue; all he emailed me in a response to the thread where I explained everything were attachments of contracts including a completely blank contract with no IP address which contrasts how a previous contract he sent me was handled. He has explicitly ignored multiple written requests to explain why the contract he sent me is blank of human review/an eSignature. Clearly, an unsigned document was automatically generated on the backend the day that I paid that does not match how South Loop actually stored membership dates.I am simply asking for corporate to refund me the fair amount given the circumstances so I do not have to file a lawsuit for this issue to be properly settled.
