On Monday, January 9th, Pointsbet, affiliated with Hawthorne Race Course to provide sports gambling in ********, deleted $144 from my account. It seemed to happen because I'm assuming an employee inadvertently added $72 to my account, realized mistake, and then deleted. However, whoever did this deleted $72 from my account three times accounting in a $144 loss. This had nothing to do with a wager or a loss. I liken it to a bank deleting $144 from someone's checking or saving account. The only way that you can lobby a complaint is through email or live chat operators. I've been in contact with them over 7 times, requesting supervisors, providing them with the evidence, etc. They keep sharing that my complaint has been sent to teams and they will get back to me. This has been happening for over a month. Pointsbet provides email transcripts of all conversations that we have. The most recent was a week ago sharing that my account would be credited and it still has not. As of Friday, February 10th, a live chat operator shared that he would contact me in the next 5 or 6 hours, and has not. I've tried to contact the ******** ************* and it is shared that they are short-staffed. I've tried calling and emailing and no response from them. I have all of the proof that this happened and I have no idea why it is such an issue. On their site, it is shared that disputes are handled within 21 days, and this has far exceeded that proclamation. I need help. I understand that it is not a significant amount of money, but if this is happening to others, it could be a significant concern.
