      I was approached by ***** ****** and offered a deal I could not refuse. On 12-8-23 an arrangement was made with ***** ****** and his company ***** ****** *********** based out of Colchester, IL. He took my 1972 Duracraft Pontoon(including Johnson 9.9 motor with solar charging system) and trailer along with a $4,172.00 check and made a bill of sale for a 8x6x12 Plastic cruiser pontoon that would be delivered in April as it was in production. I never have received the pontoon and they no longer answer their phones. I am an 86 year old veteran that they preyed on to steal from. I actually drove over to their location and he stated his wife was having a medical emergency and left without addressing any of my concerns.

      Called Rettey Corp. 800 number for info on buying a boat about March 9th. left message, about 3 days later got a phone call from ***** (******) said he was from Paradise Marine in Illinois and they built small pontoon boats. He said he saw I was looking at them online. I had looked at a lot of websites of boats. He said they were Illinois boat builders for 39 years and due to business was opening up a factory in Sarasota Florida to build them there also. Very convincing salesman, talked me into purchase just before price increase if I paid in full. Told me I would receive my boat by the second week of June if I paid now, and paid shipping and used Fed ex overnite envelope he provided the address Hold for Paradise Island Marine, **** ********** *** ****** ***. About March 26, 2022 talked with him by phone and he upgraded me into a bigger boat and a custom trailer. Again sent the check to Paradise Island Marine thru Fed Ex at their drop location. saw a BBB review online about Rettey Corp and Silver Island Marine warning not to do business with them. Called ***** who assured me that he was not Rettey Corp, but they were another boat builder in the area of Illinois. Come June I had not heard anything and called ***** who told me they were having problems get Aluminum from China and would be a couple weeks late. ***** did not answer any more of my calls, I called the number for the Sarasota Florida Office ###-###-#### and the number goes directly to Larrys phone ###-###-#### which he will not answer and the mailbox is full so you can't leave a message. I have not been able to talk with him since. I texted him and threatened to take action against him and he sent me a text back that my order was cancelled effective Monday July 25, 2022 and that he would send a full refund on both orders . He was to send a e-mail tomorrow (July 26) outlining Paradise Island Marine refund policy the next day. He did not and i am out $11,929.26 PLEASE HELP ME
