The McDonalds in ************ , ******** has drastically gone down hill on its service, people interaction, and employees that actually care. The establishment had been altered via construction and the employees were now basically behind a wall. What the children wanted was not readily available (visible) on the machine and we had to wait several minutes to talk to someone for help. They actually appeared annoyed and another customer was kind enough to help us. We eventually gave up and left. On my way home this evening, my wife asked if I could get her a fish sandwich from your Beltline location. I ordered the fish combo with a large Diet Coke in the Drive-Thru. Total cost $8.91. I paid my bill and proceeded ahead. The young lady took my money and asked me to proceed further down the line. When I got to the receiving window (my term), I was told to move ahead and my food would be ready shortly. While I waited several customers behind me got their meals and left while I waited. My wait time was excessive and I left the drive thru area and pulled around to the main entrance. As I started to walk in, some female handed me my food. I was no longer in the mood for the food since I had to wait in my opinion an excessive amount of time. Several people after me were served quicker than I. I could understand my wait if I had ordered a large amount but one fish sandwich, 1-fry and a drink should not take almost 15 minutes. I told the young lady, I would go elsewhere, she gave me back my funds and I left. On item #4, I forgot to mention that while we were waiting several people walked in after us and were served before us because they had used your app. We do not do that. All that happened to us was to show our grandchildren, that no matter who you are, if you use what they (McDonalds) want you to use, you can jump in front of people and get what you want. Your new version on the Beltline completely ***** in my opinion in regards to customer care and service.
