  My experience with Woods has been profoundly disappointing, a ***** warning to future customers. My ********************** waterproofing project was plagued by misrepresentations and operational failures. Sales representative **** ***** explicitly assured me the work could be done without removing the toilet. This was crucial to my decision.The crew arrived and declared the job impossible with the toilet in place. They openly laughed, stating "**** is notorious for saying whatever he needs to say to make a sale." This admission from their own employees reveals a systemic issue. The job was canceled.A rescheduled appointment was a no-show, canceled without notification.On July 19, 2025, the "best crew" arrived, only to hit me with an unexpected upcharge for the "correct" system after partially demolishing my basement floor. They demanded authorization before even providing the cost. Throughout this ordeal, crew members consistently voiced frustration with the sales team's deceptive tactics, explaining that salespeople overpromise to close deals, leaving the production team to negotiate additional payments with angry customers. They also revealed internal issues, including unfair pay and high customer service turnover due to frustrated ************ direct conversation with **********************' leadership, where I expressed my intent to share my experience publicly, was met with a question about how they could "improve my feelings." Yet, in the week since, there has been no follow-up, no resolution, and no acknowledgment of the profound issues I raised.This cascade of failuresfrom deceptive sales to operational chaos, uncommunicated cancellations, unexpected upcharges, and a complete lack of post-complaint engagementserves as a ***** warning. Proceed with extreme caution and consider alternative providers for your basement needs.

  Basement Woods systems came out to our home on May 7th, 2025 to fix our North wall in the basement due to foundation issues. The workers did not follow the exact spec's on the Engineer plan, because if they had, they would possible crack our windows, The Inspector for our city came out and failed the work as it did not meet the Engineer plans. They fixed it the same day. This is not what I'm complaining about. Our issue, is because we were told that day, they would be back the next day, that we would receive a call and the city inspector would be out that Friday, May 8th. They did not show, we were not called, and when I called and spoke with a ******, she said they were on another job, but would come out later that day. When they did not show, I called back and went straight to voicemail. There were two holes in our backyard for two weeks, not covered and allowed rain to fill both holes. We spoke with someone the following week and were told they couldn't come out until May 23rd, 2025. They did not offer to cover up the holes until then, nor when we called back multiple times to get more information and speak with someone about a partial refund, they ignored our calls and didn't respond. My wife finally got a hold of someone at Woods, this past Monday and were promised a call back, well they didn't call back, but ignored us and our concerns. We spoke with our city and were told, they haven't even received the new Engineer plans from Woods. This was this past Wednesday. My wife finally spoke with someone either Tuesday or Wednesday, can't remember. Said they would be coming out Friday to take care of this. Nothing again was addressed regarding our concerns or partial refund. The Salesman "*** *********" who was our salesman didn't even return our calls. This company has no clue regarding customer service. Not happy and will not be using them again.

  We had water in our basement and called Woods out. They were very nice and quickly diagnosed our problem and recommended an interior drain. The salesman guaranteed the product for life to keep our basement dry. We booked it immediately and it took 4 months to schedule. Installation was smooth. 6 weeks after we had more water. Another consultant came out and said we needed another installation called clean space to ensure a dry basement. This was 1) never presented to us originally and 2) was not covered by our lifetime guarantee. Now, we have been unable to get anybody to call us back to schedule this add on for the last 10 days. For a company with such a great reputation this has been a very frustrating experience.

  We had Woods Basement Systems install Power Braces to repair two bowing basement walls. ***** ******* and his crew, ****, ****** and Brayden, worked extremely hard, each knowing his particular job, and got the project finished in a very professional manner. They worked like a well oiled machine. The basement was cleaned up very nicely. We are pleased with the work that was done and would recommend Woods Basement Systems. We are also pleased with the inspection done by ****** ******** and communication with ******* *******.

  I would highly recommend not using Woods Basement Systems. The poyl level used to level my garage floor is slowly breaking down just 2 months after their 5 year warranty. I paid a lot of money for this procedure. **** ******, there salesman inspected my issues. He agreed that only 1 section needed more poly level & he would talk to his boss & get approval. That was the last time I heard from ****. I tried calling & emailing him for more then 3 weeks & still today he hasn't returned my call. All I need is a few more pumps of poly level to correct my problem, but being out of warranty for 1 or 2 months, they don't want anything to do with me anymore & not even the consideration in returning my calls. I even emailed directly to the owners & still no return call. I explained in my email that my wife was dieing of heart disease & spent the summer in & out of ********************. She finally passed away Aug. 5 and that's when I contacted Woods Basement Systems. Since they advertise on T.V. that they're a local family business, the owners would understand, but how they fooled me. I'm a retired District Sales Manager with ******************************* and they would have fired me, if I treated a customer the way they treated me. I would never ever recommend again this company to anyone. Very disappointed **** *.

  The assessor/estimator conducted a thorough review of our situation, performed a series of inspections and identified the source of our problem. He was thorough, professional and highly competent. He listened to our concerns and fully answered our questions. We look forward to the installation crew performing the work we've hired.

  ******** company! Everyone in this company lies from the salespeople to ownership. All they care about is taking your money and wasting your time. They will set a date to come to your home then reschedule numerous times. If you are unlucky enough to have them do work on your home you will find them unprofessional and incapable of doing what they are hired to do.

  I have put this off for some time now but can't rest until I get this off my chest and close this ugly chapter in my life. In September 2019 I hired Woods to prepare my crawlspace with encapsulation and a sump pump and later a dehumidifier. The first time it rained my crawlspace flooded in the same area that was my main reason for having this work done. Later, MY suggestion on how to fix the problem worked! Also, the water poured out of the pipes back into the pump because they weren't even glued together! Water constantly poured out of the Ice Guard. In November of 2020 they installed a yard drain. So many workers and supervisors were here but never fixed the end problem. In March of this year I made three calls for the drain line to be looked at and repaired. I discovered a hole in the ground and could see the white pipe! After making 3 appointments (had to cancel because of weather) a guy came here ALONE and I asked why did he not have help. He had to make a call to the office and tells me it would cost me around $1,000.00 to fix. No way was I going to give Woods more money to fix their installation mistake! I called another local company and got everything fixed the PROPER way! The white drainage pipe Woods put in the ground was about 1 and 1/2 inches below the ground and NONE of the pipes were GLUED together causing water to flow heavily from the hole in the ground! Very poor job from beginning to end lasting nearly 4 years and causing undue grief and more money to pay another company to properly fix Woods' horrible job! I kept written notes on everything and have many pictures of their disgusting work; therefore, I will definitely not recommend Woods Basement to anyone!!
