    Have purchased Columbia Gift cards for the location over the last couple of years. I have unused balances on three cards worth about $140 to be redeemed. No paperwork was issued other than gift card. The card or the website does not have any information about Gift Cards or usage. The back of the card states to use present card and the amount will be deducted. I tried to use two weeks ago and was informed the cards have no value and that they are only good within the year they were purchased. I asked for the paperwork or policy about cards and was told that they were only good for the year purchased.

    Mr. **** appears to have $140 in unused gift cards.  When he attempted to use one of them, they did not come up in the system, meaning they were beyond the expiration.  Our employee, **** ******, politely told this to Mr. **** and **** felt he accepted it. Mr. **** did not ask to speak to owners, so we had no idea of the problem and therefore were unable to resolve the matter, which we would have done.  We will issue Mr. **** a gift card of $140.00 as this is the unused portion. **** **** will follow up with a conversation to Mr. **** to apologize for the inconvenience.

    I will be satisfied to be able to use my Gift cards. Funny the Gentlemen that replied is the one that told me they were no good. I have an email sent from him to me stating the fact. I was thinking I was sending the message to the owner. He replied back and told me I was the one he had the conversation with.

    They have two courses that are together just different clubhouses. The day I was told they were no good I drove over to the other clubhouse on the way home and was given the phone number. 

    Hopefully I will hear from them soon. Thank you and the BBB so far in getting this resolved.

    I have reviewed the business' response regarding complaint ID ******** and am satisfied with this resolution.  Thank you for addressing this issue. The Golf course supplied me with a new Gift Card that doesnt have an expiring date.
